This game has the best medieval combat. You really feel like an armored knight. The game has no RNG, thus, there is never the frustration of a missed shot. It is all 'all your team moves at the same time' (like Gears Tactics) not a turn order game (like Triangle Strategy). Thus, your challenge is to optimise the team attack, consider all six team members each with around 8 action points that could be movement or attacking and each with multiple different types of actions (special moves, buffs...). All that keeps the mind busy! I found I would get into a flow trying to figure out what to do in my turn. You can save between battles in a mission but not within a battle, which is a good system to reduce the temptation to save-scumming yet allow you the comfort knowing that if you wanted to re-do a whole battle you could. If you liked King Arthur: Knight's Tale, you'll probably like this game. This game is a bit more streamlined (e.g., there is only vitality, not vitality plus health) its 'parent game', in ways that I like. The developer, Neocore games, does a great job in designing levels. Nice graphics in this game. Overall, IMHO, this game has the best medieval turn-based combat, which really captures the feel of being an armored knight.

I tried coming back to this 5 times and hated it every time. This game feels like a very early access game.
