This is a chess game of healthy pedigree, using the Perfect Chess engine previously seen in Ubisoft’s Chessmaster. Not only that, but the price is right.

The adventure mode is engrossing and fun to play even for those who don't like chess, because it plays more like a good turn-based strategy.

Majestic Chess actually lives up to its name in not only theme, but quality and originality too.

From the detailed graphics, amazing music, excellent tutorial, and excellent concept, everyone should find something to enjoy with this game.

Offers an extremely solid competitor to "Chessmaster," and the best training of any chess game yet.

While I still prefer the social nature of face-to-face matches, the small mistakes and oversights the engine makes give you the sense that you're really playing a personality and not a program.

If I had access to this back when I was learning the game, I think I would have been a much better player earlier on.
