Soaked in undead atmosphere, Hellraid: The Escape is a morbid adventure puzzler that isn't for those of a sensitive disposition.

It's a case of brains over brawn in puzzler Hellraid: The Escape, as players take down demonic foes using only their ingenuity and the environment itself.

Graphics are great and puzzles are varied enough to keep you entertained until the credits roll, which unfortunately happens way too soon.

For a mobile title the visuals are quite stunning, on par with some console and PC games that I’ve come across. Each dungeon is intricately detailed with macabre little items, like blood splatter, skeletons twisted in agony and grotesque monsters. It makes me all the more sadder that we may never see more of this twisted universe given that Techland has shelved plans for the console experience.

It may not be the best puzzle game out there, but Hellraid: The Escape has a great atmosphere, some interesting puzzles and a style that is truly unique.
