If you like movement based combat and a darker story you’ll love this game don’t listen to the reviews. The only thing bringing the game down in the reviews is the comparison to the Arkham games. Gotham knights is so different from the Arkham games it’s stupid to compare them. In my opinion Gotham knights feels way more grounded than the Arkham games and male like you’re actually saving people.

The 3/10 is for batgirl's "assets" this game is a locked 30fps mess the transversal system is horrid and lets not even talk about the fighting system that is absolutely stiff as hell this game is just a disappointing as suicide squad kill the justice league

As a comic book fan, Gotham Knights completely surprised me in a positive way. For me, it is a fantastic DC adventure with a great story, memorable characters, and excellent character design. Playing as Nightwing is especially enjoyable – his mix of humor, charm, and heroism feels almost like stepping into a modern DC TV series with a CW-style vibe. The game feels less like the dark and gritty Arkham games and more like an interactive comic book with a strong focus on team dynamics. Gotham’s neo-noir atmosphere, the cinematic cutscenes, and the relationships between the members of the Bat-Family are some of the game’s biggest strengths. The boss fights are also a highlight, with impressive presentation, unique mechanics, and satisfying tactical elements.

Honestly I feel like the combat, and traversal of this game is nothing compared to what the Batman Arkham Series offered. I am very disappointed with the fact that I paid for the deluxe edition.

It’s fun, easy to pick up, and has a challenge to it. Every one in the game has an interesting story and the main story is true to any Batman story. most importantly it’s fun to play.

Gotham knights had big potential; however, it was a waste. In terms of gameplay, it has some problems; it's too slow, and in some cases, it's become monotonous. Graphics and music are unremarkable. some character designs are ugly, and secondary missions are boring, despite the history being interesting in some measure. "the owl court" is one of the most exicting history into batman lore, but the game, It doesn't live up to what was promised. final score 7

Not a broken-from-the-get-go type of game but it is very consistently underwhelming in all areas that actually matter. Traversal? Not good. Combat? Not good enough. Movement and fluidity? Raw and rudimentary. Gameplay flow? Absolutely terrible. Story? Hard to get into, both because of how long the game actually takes to get going, and it's not really that engaging anyway. Big nope for me.

Os personagens são mal adaptados e (com exceção do Asa noturna) desinteressantes, porém as "histórias" fora das missões principais de cada um são interessantes de serem vistas e uma mecânica legal para a dinâmica do jogo. Gotham Knights is an enjoyable action RPG that successfully establishes its own identity outside of the Arkham series. The combat, while different, is satisfying and fluid. What truly shines is the co-op, allowing you and a friend to patrol a beautifully rendered Gotham, and the character-driven story and dialogue.

This game is kind of a hot mess. Everything is a let down. Four unique characters, but you have to repeat the same tasks for all four to unlock all of their skills, you're better off just sticking with one and playing out the game. A huge open world, where I literally have to go to the same six places to accomplish missions. I end up just fast traveling across the map because the whole place is empty. I go to the same bar and fight the same dozen people as last time. Tons of collectables that are neither worth finding, nor fun to find. A broken combat system when compared to the smooth beauty that was the Arkham series. They don't punch in the right direction, they don't dodge, can't even see who I am supposed to be fighting. A lackluster roster of villains. I don't need the Joker in everything, but there are like four bad guys here. A crafting system that amounts to "look for green number" and hit equip. Elemental damage that is never explained or meaningful in any way. Most devastating is that it is just so freaking boring. It's the same four crimes that happen in the same six places. Even at a STEEP discount, and coming from a pretty big Batman fan, I am incredibly underwhelmed with this one.

The immersion was great, really felt like a vigilante. The combat and stealth are fun and the graphics are great!

The reviews might say otherwise but I found this game a ton of fun. So much so that I even went in and platinumed it. I just didn’t like how slow it was traveling from point to point. If you can get over that it is enjoyable.

i like it a lot.. combine it with reshade for lighter image with tonemap plugin.. and there are some very nice mods on nexusmods

The gameplay is alright but the missions are annoying like wwe 2K showcase since 22 due to multiple objectives making it like a extra HW to do.

Another game with potential ruined by Sweet Baby Inc. It's not enough that's awfall. They really meant it when they said they want to burn the games industry to the ground. I hope Rockstady and Warner Beoss learn the lesson with this flop and Suicide Squad Kill Justice League

It's funny and not reapet at all u have 4 characters to play and everyone of them is very different from the other story is acceptable

A ausência da icônica planagem do Batman torna a exploração da cidade lenta e frustrante. A moto, inferior ao Batmóvel, é pouco resistente e atrapalha a locomoção. O ciclo de missões para a base é uma ideia interessante, mas não compensa as outras falhas. O gameplay é genérico e os gráficos, comparados a outros títulos recentes, demonstram um visual ultrapassado, eu tentei muito terminar esse jogo mas ele é muito ruim, não deu.

A bare-bones, pale imitation of the previous Arkham games. The combat is somehow more stiff than the more than a decade old Arkham version. The loot grind doesn't fit. The dynamic and classic superhero characters aren't very interesting. A disappointing effort.

The plot is a disaster that doesn't know if it wants to be dark and disturbing or with a CW sense of humor... The worst thing about CW. It's predictable and not at all memorable. They completely wasted the court of owls! I don't feel anything for the four new protagonists... I even came to hate them at the end of the campaign, the nerve of WB to leave an open ending hinting at a sequel HELL NO! I don't want to see this universe or these characters acted badly ever again. Next time WB make a Batman game and not the extras! Peacemaker is more popular for crying out loud!

This game is probably the biggest missed opportunity I've ever seen there are some genuinely good ideas in this game that are either not properly thought out or not fully utilized to their potential and there are so many bad decisions taken by this game that just drag down the entire experience and then if you compare it to the Arkham series it becomes even worst then it actually is

How to describe this title? Cheap. Cheap story, cheap graphic presentation, cheap acting (even annoying and irritating America Young as Bratgirl and Sloane Morgan Siegel as Bobbins) super cheap costumes like cosplay and a cheap and uninspiring soundtrack. WBMontreal spent the entire budget in the first ten minutes. I have never played a game with so many bugs/glitches.

Slightly confusing gameplay, but fun once you get the hang of it. Good dynamic character interactions. References and mentions of less-known characters for anyone whos nerdy about comics. Makes good use of characters backgrounds regarding trauma, origin, family, sexuality, fears, and hopes. Tons of fun small things to look for (like Alfred mentioning a cat that you can later spot behind a workbench). I didn't enjoy the actions taken by batman but they wrote him well in the Bruce sections of the game and i was genuinely moved by his love for the bat-fam. Game could do with a few more spaced out tutorials instead of everything right at the beginning but generally a very enjoyable game with funny dialog and enjoyable plot

I am a huge fan of the Arkham series, and as for this part, I only played it recently because of the bad reviews it received upon launch. The game is wonderful and has brought back my passion. I loved it very, very much.

Mid game combats mid traversals mid it’s just not good not bad the story is decent but mid really sums up this game

The nighttime city in this game is beautiful and atmospheric. Vibrant colors and excellent quality of lighting. Game mechanics work really well too, and I like the main characters. I also like that the city is alive, with civilians crowding the streets and living their own lives. What brings the score down are the odd design choices made. For example, half of the enemy gangers are women. Now, I do appreciate gender equality in hiring, but I doubt criminal outfits would employ according to such principle. And also, would that many women really want a career in street crime in a city like this? Equality has it's place, but perhaps not in the criminal underworld.

The old rocksteady would turn in their graves. Even Arkham Origins was good in comparison. Get your **** together, Warner Brothers, irsgetting rridiculously bad.

Me gusto la verdad no es una obra maestra pero es entretenido en especial me gusto el personaje de batichica el combate esta mas o menos pero en general es bueno.

Nem volt ez annyira rossz játék, de a hangulata nem volt olyan komor mint a Rocksteady Batman játékainak. Ezt hiányoltam, meg a küldetések is néha kicsit laposak voltak és nem volt túl jó szinthez kötni őket...

Gotham Knights is an OKAY game, it's nothing special and honestly I've played far worse than it. Being a fan of DC Comics I was perhaps kinder in my critique of the game because there are parts where you can actually see the dev team put some effort into the actual DC content which I appreciate as a fan. However this game is far from perfect, from my experience the 30fps performance never really bothered me (honestly if the game is good I can easily handle 30fps if it's stable) the problems come with the open world elements which can get rather repetitive when you've done the same crime over and over again. The writing is decent though nothing to really write home about, they handle the characters quite well whilst not really delivering much **** narrative outside of the team chats and the core missions that make up the main story. If you want to try it I'd say give it a go and see how you like it but it's not really a game you'll be missing anything if you do decide to pass on it. I'm also reading that Sweetbaby Inc. were involved in the game's development which could suggest why aspects of the game are just middling or bad.

Got a free copy with PS+ and thought about replaying it, already owned it on Xbox X and played through NG+. Mildly entrainment and interesting enough story with pretty bad dialog and character interactions straight out of a teen drama TV series on Disney. The thought of replaying and starting over from scratch and suffering through the repetitive mildly rewarding grind made me realize how much I really dislike most of this average loot gear brawler with the Batman world slapped on. Don't recommend, even if it's free lol. Maybe if you just have hundreds of hours to waste on nothing.

Bigots of ALL types are unwelcome in this industry, whether that's anti-brown racism, or anti-white racism, or anti-male sentiment, or anti-female sentiment. Proudly bragging that your team has no white people is reprehensible.

Gotham Knights is the definition of mediocre, mediocre traversal, mediocre character designs and suits and a mediocre suit, however, credit where credit is due, the story interactions between Tim, Grayson, Barbara, and Jason are quite charming and feel quite real despite a lot of their chracterization coming out of one quick glance at the fandom page of these characters and the deluxe edition suits are quite amazing but nowhere near worth the price of the Visionary Pack if you didn't buy the deluxe edition, the only thing this game exceeds at are the boss fights, even if there are very few of them, Harley and Clayface specially being my favorites, however, it is a mediocre game with mediocre everything really

It was surprisingly not as bad as I expected. Probably, this game was in a much worse state on **** game is fine, but it definitely lucks own identity or unique approach to fell fresh or engaging. Overall, it gave the impression of a soulless **** story is very mid and appears to be more of an excuse to have a game. They tried to do something new, which is admirable, but all of this secret society staff, which has successfully kept its existence hidden for hundreds of years, suddenly revealing itself and its hideouts... feels so silly. What's even worse, technically we only learn about two characters with the name and personality throughout the game. Everyone else is just ordinary goons who act as punching bags for our **** a result, this storyline appears to be an absolute mcguffin.Battles and boss fights are boring attack/evade buttons mashing with the occasional use of abilities or range attacks.City navigation is quite dull. You don't want to waste time roaming these streets once you've opened fast **** plot, gameplay, map, art design, and so on - all of it is ok, but definitely worse than any Arkham **** has this feeling of life-service game that was changed to single-player in the last moment. Everything is working and ready for season passes and updates, but there is nothing deep or important to say in base game.

Combat and missions get rather repetitive but the story feels like a Batman story. The Gotham setting is really immersive and I just walked around a few times in the game and just looked at stuff. Pretty cool that the 4 characters all play totally different and have their own little cutscenes in the Belfrey.

It's beyond disgraceful, there are so many bugs and mistakes in the game, the visuals are nice but it didn't taste good, I don't recommend it and it's too expensive.

Un gioco che non mi ha stancato neanche dopo ore di gioco facendo solo le secondarie, meno monotone di quel che si pensa se l’obiettivo è quello di farmare, bellissima l’idea di far passare le notti ogni volta che ci rechiamo nel nostro rifugio, qualche pecca di gameplay ma accettabile, per me promosso! Ps. Basta far morire Batman però, questo gioco con lui presente sarebbe stato ancora migliore

Average game, a delusion for those who expected way more after Batman Games, but still a game worth to be played after all. The story is somehow intriguing and all the main story lines are fun to play, but all other activities through the map are repetitive and not really meaningful. City doesn't feel alive, just randomly filled with criminals and collectibles with emptyness all around. You are not going to have a good time moving around the map, it just feels very slow most of the time, even after you unlock teleports; driving mechanics for the motorcycle are too oversimplified and pathetic. Fighting mechanics is fun, but the experience is not going to change so much during the playthough resulting soon quite boring. GDR design for suit and weapons is totally unnecessary. Fixed 30FPS in 2024 with no performance mode? No thanks

The game is a huge downgrade from the Arkham games but I still had a lot of fun with it. I love the dynamic with the Knighrs and Alfred. The ending could’ve been better, but I do love the ending monologue. Gameplay mechanics are alright, not the best. Can feel a little clunky at times especially when comparing it to the Arkham games. Overall I was satisfied with Gotham Knights.
