You will be hard-pressed to find a puzzling game more beautifully crafted as Gorogoa. Everything from its music to the hand-drawn puzzle frames ignites the imagination to keep search and digging for more. Even with its short length, Gorogoa is a satisfying game. It is also an exercise in asking questions about our own devotion and the lengths that we might go to in order to connect with the divine.

An innovative, brilliantly designed puzzle game that everyone will enjoy regardless of their age. [02/2018, p.40]

Gorogoa is a unique and amazing puzzle-game that deserves an opportunity, for the bravery of it's creator and because we need games like this in the industry to make it going forward.

Original concept for a puzzle, dream-like inter-connected experience and story behind. Very refreshing

The best puzzle game I've ever played. The game makes you think in a new way about what is possible and what reality is. Pattern recognition at it's finest. The atmosphere is very eerie. I loved it! This would be a 10 if it was a little longer which I would have gladly paid more for.

Excellent, but, unfortunately, very short work. Definitely deserves attention. 2D hand-drawn puzzle with perspective, angles and fantasy. A simple but interesting game for several hours if you get stuck somewhere in it. I would call it not a full-fledged puzzle game, but a very successful little experiment.

Between the simple but charming narrative, the creative and satisfying puzzle design, and the breathtaking hand-drawn artwork, Gorogoa is a wonderful puzzle game that will amaze all who choose to play it.

Rare are the games that can make us see the world a little differently; step outside and look around after playing Gorogoa and you'll realise it probably deserved that round of applause after all. [Issue#315, p.110]

This is as close to art as a game can be. I’ve never played anything alike aside from itself, not before it, not until today.

Whoa GOROGOA rules! I was so proud of beating this one without a walkthrough. Playing games like this must be how people who like games like Myst feel, except way more streamlined so even impatient people like me can enjoy it.

As with so many of its puzzles, Gorogoa is content to be a matter of perspective.

Gorogoa crafts its inventive, sliding-tile puzzles and magical world with a graceful simplicity across a compact but fulfilling adventure. The excitement of solving each puzzle may be lost on a repeat playthrough, but its hand-drawn art and clever payoffs are no less satisfying to watch unfold again and again. Gorogoa manages to say so much without uttering a single word, endowing it with a mystery that invites a more attentive, thoughtful revisit — and one that I was more than happy to accept.

If you thrill in playing games that represent the sweat and tears of a developer, Gorogoa is a great game to purchase. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I found it supremely meditative.

Gorogoa’s artist and designer, Jason Roberts, clearly had a vision with this game and I applaud him and everyone else at developer Buried Signal for making it a reality. But I struggle to recommend this experience, because whatever emotions Gorogoa was hoping to convey, I simply did not feel them.

This is a short game, about the length of a movie (little more if you're bad at puzzles), but it's worth your time. -The puzzle mechanics feel natural and familiar, despite being original. -It's a piece of visual art. -Its story is legitimately moving. If you're on the fence about buying such a short game, honestly, try to borrow it from someone you know. It succeeds as a puzzle, as art, and as storytelling. The only flaw is that it's not 5x the length.

This is what makes puzzle games good. The game is not too hard like the witness or not to easy like every other game that includes puzzles for no reason. This game has its own pace and some clever clue's that make lets you know what to do while coming up with it yourself. Its not as good as like to say call of the sea but its up there. Besides that the artstyle is great and story kinda weird still have no idea what in the F went on but its a decent game and sure worth your few hours of playing it. Best part is is that its in gamepass so money lost on trying.

Gorogoa - 7.8 / 10 - {recommend} The game is [Good, but it doesn't get there]. Gorogoa is a great puzzle game, and it has a unique style, but it has a confusing story, and it has scenes so difficult / unlikely to call that you just keep trying like crazy to get through, after all you is not so rewarded for his career. The game itself is good, but not that good, because the only thing that makes this a unique game are the puzzles.

Yapbozlardan belirli perspektifler elde ederek yeni boyutlara geçmeye çalıştığımız bir bulmaca oyunu. Meh.

Boring stuff for hipsters. Nice idea of puzzle mechanics, but not too well executed, and ridiculously short.
SummaryGorogoa is an elegant evolution of the puzzle genre, told through a beautifully hand-drawn story designed and illustrated by Jason Roberts.
