It’s short and easy without much variation, but there’s just enough charm and humour in Gomo to make it a worthwhile experience for fans of Machinarium clones.

Overall the challenge level is geared towards younger gamers; if you rush through the game you can complete Gomo in maybe just over an hour. The story is simple and the characters you meet have a simple charm to them and the pace of the game means you'll be able to whiz through it to see the next kooky scene.

While presenting several interesting ideas in terms of style, Gomo is not convincing because of an evanescent gameplay and definitely not brilliant selection of puzzles.

At its core, Gomo is best suited for young adventurers who lack the experience to take on badder aliens and higher ransoms.

Gomo isn't a great example of the genre by any means, but it's nice to look at and a fun little diversion. I found it rather endearing.

Gomo is so easy and short that doesn't allow you to enjoy the adventure. Puzzle's design is simple and the storyline superficial. It's an adventure game that could have been better.

A point and click game with a quiet and a fun atmosphere, that lacks in depth of gameplay and puzzles. The game's longevity is way too short, offering less than 90 minutes of gameplay.

If you get two hours of spare time, you can either spend it by playing Gomo from start to finish or go get your root canals done. I actually have to ponder which one to choose. Gomo is totally forgettable adventure game. [Feb 2014]

Gomo can be a nice adventure game for kids, as it is really short and easy, but also quite funny.

Most of its pieces fit tight together, but lasting just one hour and being quite easy, it's not the best option for graphic adventures fans.
