Glaive: Brick Breaker

well made tough as nails and the most annoying challenge since Rive (space shooter) stress wise the games levels are fun I got stuck on level 6 for a while that annoyed me lol two player is fantastic fun responsive controls sounds music all top notch the game plays well the ball mechanics are great but sometimes the ball whizz past you but I wasn't expecting an easy game and that's good powerups are decent a couple are really good to use Id recommend the game as its fun to pick up and play and is also well priced for a modern brickbreaker game

Finished full game so review is about whole experience as of now. Game gives a good arcade feel of old classic games but brings a lot of new stuff to the table. It starts easy but as you progress, there are new game modes, boss fight which are challenging and stages that can be a pain in the ass, but isn't it what we like? Handfull of powerups and a cool versus mode for 2 players. There are some technical issues sometimens but game keeps you occupied with "one more stage" syndrome. Had a lot of fun with this game and completed it in 4hours + approx. 1 hour of versus mode with my boy. He and friends like competition.

So the game starts a bit slow and easy, but after a few stages we can see that game is actually hard as hell. Wich I love btw. Graphics are cool, controls are great. The seem to be some problems with the ball sometimes but not much. Overally game is great arkanoid clone.

Game has a good vibe of classic arkanoid. But be warned - game is not easy and may frustrate you !

What a dull game. I even like this kind of brick breaker type of game but this one, ****, it just keeps on giving but what its giving is tedium wrapped in janky gameplay with poor ball physics and levels that take Sisyphean amounts of determination to get through. Just having a line of bricks that take a ton of hits to remove isn't fun. I mean, it's not torture either. Its like repeatedly stepping on a lego brick. It hurts but you can handle it. The question is why are you continuing to step on that brick? Just stop, and that's what you should do with this game. Just stop. In fact stop before you buy it.
