Fragrant Story and Papaya's Path

The progression is extremely satisfying. It respects your time, and is perfect for shorter sessions, which I absolutely love.

Simple but addictive gameplay, with graphics and music that are just as good as Tactics Ogre: Reborn. It was only $2 when I bought it which is a phenomenal value.

Expanded gloriously, this little gem boasts unbeatable value at a fraction of the price of its contemporaries. If you like Tactics Ogre, pick this up immediately.

The 2023 expansion was a miracle. Nice to have it built in this time, on the Switch version. Personally, I really enjoyed this game and felt it was a great price for the hours I got out of it. What makes this game so unique is the spinner mechanic used in battle. I've never seen that before. It's a cool way to add extra challenge to the game. The other draw for me was the various characters and their abilities. Going through the challenges forces you to use characters you've never used before so I found myself trying to 100% everything.

This was my 2nd favorite game on 3DS, 1st being Fantasy Life. They are similar in that they both are really fun to collect everything and level up. Very nice to have it on Switch, and it's definitely worth another full playthrough.

Surprisingly very fun, despite what you would think from how inexpensive it is.

With the addition of Papaya's Path especially, this is a great little turn-based combat game that knows exactly what it wants to be. The puns are delightfully corn, the character art and voice acting are way above what you'd think for a small independent game like this.
