للوهله الاولى تشعر انك مقبل على تحدي رائع وحماسي لقتل الغيلان العملاقة الا ان التنفيذ كان سيء و من اقبح مما يكون تصميم فقير و قيمبلاي يحتوي على كثير من الاعطاب و موازنه مهام بعض المراحل غير منطقية للغاية للاسف لا انصح بها لسوئها و عدم استيفائها معاير الحد لادنى للعبة

Not even worth the 5 dollars I paid. Start a level, rescue civilians, kill giant. That’s it. That’s every level for the first hour. Uninstalled. I’ve had more fun taking a dump.

the upgrade or skill tree isn’t balanced. They game makes you grind early levels for what seems like no reward. The dialogue pauses the play of the game giving a stop & go feeling. There’s more believe there is more but the one positive for me personally was art style for the cut scenes.

I thought this game was okay it is a fairly fun arcade game, I like dismembering and killing the ogres but the story is mediocore and the ogres kill you way to easily, it is also very repetitive. I paid $9 for it at eb games and don't regret it. just don't pay more than $10 for it.

This was in no way a game worth $60. I waited until the special edition was down to $18 and picked it up. I have to say, it was a very pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The story is decent enough. The gameplay is tight and enjoyable, although it might be a bit repetitive. The challenges are varied and trying to accomplish all the primary and secondary objectives makes for enjoyable replayability. The voice acting is quite good, the animated cut scenes are great for a change of pace and the other conversation pieces are fun too. The best part of this game, by far, is the art style in the gameplay parts. It's flat out beautiful, and makes the whole game more enjoyable. While I certainly understand other peoples disappointment with this game (especially at a $60 price tag) and get that this is not a game for everyone, it very much is for me.

Overall, Extinction is a fun arcade-style action game to be enjoyed not necessarily for a deep and atmospheric story but for it’s visceral fast-paced hack’n’slash action and its huge replay-ability.

Let's just say that the title of the game is a decidedly apropos name, and leave it at that. Like others have already stated, this game had a lot of good premise, and on paper looked like it would be a real blast. But the reality of the matter is this game should of been shelved months, or even years ago, as it clearly went down the wrong path and never made a recovery. Poor implementation, very buggy, and repetitive, boring and frankly just overall a very poor experience. Best let this one fade into obscurity, and hope the developers can bounce back. I'm sure they want to forget about this game, as much as I do....

Looked like fun in the previews, but you do the same thing over and over. This is not a $60.00 game. That was a big mistake. The controls are awful. Unfinished, unpolished, and unprepared this game was released lacking any content and is full of frustrating bugs, terrible gameplay, repetitive missions where you do EXACTLY the same thing over and over. It's NOT fun. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I knew this game was going to **** after watching the first gameplay videos... but you know when you feel like giving a try anyway? Let my mistake be a lesson, please. It seems to me that "Extinction" is the kind of game that should have been cancelled, but for some reason got the resources to move forward. It is NOT worth 60 dollars. This is the type of game that will be in the bargain bin in a couple of months; and probably will be given for free in a monthly update by Playstation Network. At first it seems fun, but this lasts for 30 minutes. At most. The rest of the game is incredibly boring and repetitive. Attack on Titan is a much better game; with a much more interesting lore and mechanics. So save yourself the trouble: don't get this at full price!

This game is so bad, I can't even justify giving it a point here. It seems like a game that the developers just threw together in all of about a week and didn't do any testing on it at all. I can't believe I actually spent 60 dollars of my hard earned money on this. This game should have been delayed or even cancelled, The graphics literally look like they're made out of paper, and the enemies don't even look imposing.

This game is an absolute catastrophe. Genuinely one of the worst games I’ve ever had the misfortune of playing failing in nearly every feasible aspect of game design. It is worth less than nothing considering it bored me at best and is dedicated to manifesting a perpetual headache within any poor **** who erroneously gave this dreadful AoT clone a chance. $60 is an utter insult. I often find that crappy steam games have an unintentional humor that makes them worth... something, but this game is, as of now, nothing but a pathetic disappointment. Seriously it should never have been made.

I had high hopes for this game but in the end my expectations weren't met. It's obvious a lot of love went into making this game but it really needed more time in developpement to be released. The movements aren't fluid, you get stopped by bystanders. 25% of the time you won't climb the monsters and you'll get crushed instead. The story feel pretty tacked on and you can see the use of the procedural generation even in the story mode. You often won't be able (or it'll be almost impossible) to complete some side missions because of the randomness of the enemy sent after you. The game desperately needs more content. I was baffled to see a map or level editor wasn't available. This would go a long way to ensure replayability, at least more than randomly generated skirmishes. Not worth $60, maybe not even $30. Get it when it's $20 or they added some content, if they even bother. All in all, a real shame.

El problema de este juego es la falta de variedad a la hora de ejecutar las mecánicas, la historia, las misiones. Viendo todo el contenido se puede ver que no se han esforzado por sacar un buen producto o no les dieron mucho tiempo. Como esta es un insulto a la inteligencia de los jugadores que parece que no los toman en serio. Todavía tiene un pase de temporada. Ojala que luego envíen actualizaciones con mejor contenido como el caso de No man sky para que mejore relativamente al menos. Como esta no es recomendable. In English The problem with this game is the lack of variety when executing the mechanics, the history, the missions. Seeing all the content you can see that they have not tried hard to get a good product or did not give them much time. As this is an insult to the intelligence of the players who do not seem to take them seriously. He still has a season pass. Hopefully, they will send updates with better content such as the case of No Man Sky so that it improves relatively at least. As this is not a recommended game.

I had such high hopes for this game since last year. I thought with the unique art style, hack ‘n’ slash type of combat, and storyline that this would turn out to be quite the game. The disappointment I felt 2 missions into this game is unimaginable. We are way past the simplicity, repetitiveness, and button-bashing in the gaming world, especially for $60. This game, in my opinion, should’ve been canceled and/or not released until it had more to offer it’s players. Utterly bummed out.

First off, I will admit that I rented this game from Family Video...I did not want to take a chance on paying $60 for an IP I know nothing about. Not only am I happy that I did not buy this game, but furthermore, I am happy that I only rented it for 2 days instead of 5. I expected more from Extinction, I thought that a game charging full price would have enough content to justify that price, but I was wrong. You play a "nobody" hero defending a bunch of "nobody" people from a whole mess of "nobody" monsters. While there is potential in some of the gameplay mechanics, the repetition of the game greatly outweighs any clever mechanic. There are 3 modes that play exactly the same, the only difference is that in one mode you can't respawn and in the other mode the levels are randomly **** the core gameplay is exactly the same. While it's not the worse game of all time, it is at the top of my personal list of bad games that I have played so far this year. Maybe with the season pass content (yes, they have a season pass too) they will introduce a new gamemode that does not involve "filling up your rune meter and saving civilians". We shall see. I would wait until this one goes on a %80 off sale to buy it.

everybody comment about the price of the game which is said to be 60$ , but please stop for a minute and think about it.. in Europe where i live this game cost 60 euros which means 74$ . so consider how bad thinks are here

The game size is 2.7 GB. The price is full MSRP $60 USD, higher in other regions. I don't care that it doesn't have multiplayer, but the single-player story ****. That should tell you enough.

I was waiting for this game, seriously, all my expectation were destroyed when I saw first gameplay !! Why to do such an amazing cgi trailer if the game is a piece of garbage? And you ask 60$... If this was a mobile game for 5$ (and it is looking like an 150 MB mobile game) it will worth 5$ but, 60$ for a PS4 game presented on E3. I'm so disapointed... 0/10!!! You don't deserve even 1/10...
