At the end of the day, Escape the Backrooms is just a fantastically fun and scary co-op experience. It’s not some highly curated horror with flashy graphics and audio design, nor does it break the wheel in any wild way. But considering you are basically being put in a level with some murderous creature and being asked to avoid it and escape time and time again, Escape the Backrooms manages to keep things impressively fresh.

Escape the Backrooms does a great job of instilling fear as you explore the unknown and try to solve the various puzzles, and playing with friends is the best way to play.

Hace bastante tiempo que no disfrutaba tanto de un juego cooperativo de terror. Niveles creativos, escenarios increíbles, gráficos bastante buenos, los diseños de las criaturas, el terror que sientes en los niveles y sobretodo lo divertido que puede llegar a ser. Escape the Backrooms is a disappointing experience. Many levels feel boring and repetitive, making exploration tedious. The AI for the hostile NPCs is very bad and lacks intelligence. Additionally, the user interface and fonts look poor and do not fit the style of the game. It is also filled with bugs, which makes the gameplay frustrating and unpolished.
