Duke Nukem 2
Instead, nostalgic gamers might be best served to leave Duke Nukem 2 in their memories rather than their iPhones.
Classic doesn’t always imply quality, and Duke Nukem II’s 20th Anniversary is perhaps an anniversary best left unnoticed.
Time is not always kind to classic games. This sadly, is one of those cases.

Duke Nukem 2 may be an improvement over it's predecessor, but the broken save feature and overly repetitive gameplay leave more to be desired. To its credit, it gives us decent graphics and sound as well as being good enough to play a few levels in a row.

While some of our nostalgic faves have made a great impression when brought to the mobile screen, Duke Nukem 2 was probably better left in the past.

Duke Nukem 2 may burst with nostalgia, but it was always a fairly clunky side-scrolling shooter and little has changed since its debut in 1993.

Despite some enduringly fresh touches, Duke Nukem II hasn't aged particularly well, with poor virtual controls and dated gameplay threatening to tarnish memories of the original.
