It doesn’t over promise nor does it under deliver. You won’t be disappointed even with the annoyances and objectionable ways you have to obtain certain things. It’s Dragon Ball Z the way you remember it and the way you love it.

If you are a fan of Dragon Ball, there’s no way around Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World, furthermore, it will be the last Dragon Ball game for the good old PlayStation 2. On the whole the game is very entertaining and you can’t make a mistake if you get it, … right now!

Fighting fans with next-gen systems already have their DBZ game along with plenty of other fighters out and coming soon enough that looking back for this game should not be something that you’re considering.

Although proclaiming an unlimited world and a great cast of characters, Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World isn't much less the best PlayStation 2 videogame in the series. It's a good try to imitate the Burst Limit's combat style, but it hasn't after all the biggest kamehameha of the Sony's black beast.

The only enjoyment you’ll find in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World is the fact you have a wide range of characters to choose from. Otherwise, avoid DBZ: IW as it’s an uninspiring cash-in on the franchise.

Dragon Ball: Infinite World is a fair adaptation of Akira Toriyama's series, with tons of playable characters and different scenarios, but nothing more. The new Dragon Mission mode is not enough to justify this new entrey on the series, but still its a good game that has nothing to do with Budokai 3 or Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

If we had to give Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World an award, it will probably be an award for putting almost the entire storyline of Dragon Ball Z into this game. Too bad that besides the compelling storyline the game also has its share of really bad mini-games. They are in fact so terrible that they takeaway a lot of the fun. Fans of the series will have no problem liking this game, the rest will probably find it a bit too difficult.

DBZ: Infinite World fails to live up to the standard set by previous DBZ games on the PS2.

A disappointment, plain and simple. The gameplay is so erratic and the AI is so obscenely challenging that you’ll likely become irritated in record time, and the old technical palette has finally outworn its welcome.

Even with improved graphics and a large character roster, Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World ends the DBZ series on PS2 with a bust instead of a bang.
