Unfortunately, this game will never be as good for Ice Climbers on the NES, although it tries very hard to be. I only played it hoping that the Ice Level would be as good Ice Climbers, but alas, nothing can ever reach that peak. Otherwise, It is a fine game with good vibes and music.

Underrated high-skill cap title. K. Rool makes a return, story is pretty interesting, something you could also see in the Country series. Mechanics are original, my only issue with this game is that it's way too hard at some point. Some nerfs here and there would have made this game even better imo.

This game is one that I was honestly very interested in taking a look at and when everything was set and done, I enjoyed it. The gameplay is really fun and had my attention throughout a good majority of the game, the soundtrack is a generally fun listen, and the characters were really enjoyable. Overall really fun time and improvement over a game that I already had a lot of fun with. It's not amazing, but I liked it.

Muito criativo, com ótimo level designer. Boa trilha sonora.

A sequel to the the GBA title "DK:King of Swing" is not exactly what the DS needed. Is it fun at least? Well if you consider awkward controls with a silly-bland story than be my guest. The story is that DK and his friends find an alien banana hybrid who says that his crystal coconut was stolen by King K. Rool. So as any of you would expect, DK decides to find it and get it back. This game has weird controls, you use the D-Pad to move, press R and L together to jump and also use R and L to climb. It already sounds difficult. And it is very difficult. Boss Battles are a prime example of this. It's like trying to shoot a moving target with an arrow blind. I barely got past the first boss. And not to mention there are collectables like DK coins you collect in every level. So good luck to you completionist! This is probably one of DK's more pitiful games, I must give credit though for putting bonus content and multiplayer, but it doesn't make up for it's amount of difficulty with the controls, as well as the controls themselves.

I respect the game for what it tried to do and I see that it tried to add a lot of new gameplay mechanics but this was not the way to do it. The game was honestly really fun though and I could see my self going back one day to try it. The problem is that this game alone was one of the main reasons my shoulder buttons failed on my original ds. This game became a joke for that reason, the killer of shoulder buttons

Maybe the most underrated game on the DS. I had a TON of fun with this game. It is one of these games that just feels great when you play it. You just want to jump and climb from wall to wall because it simply feels great. I can recommend it with confidence for anyone who wants to try a different kind of gameplay. 8 out of 10.
