PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME! UNLESS - the developers can patch it so that you can actually steer. I heard their previous game was **** because of the controls, but when I saw a top down view game with F1 cars, I couldn't resist. Biggest mistake ever. The game isn't even expensive, its like 8 bucks or so, but even that is not worth it, because it is completely unplayable. Reason - you can't steer. It is impossible to predict a turn, and since you have to break in order to steer your car, you essentially need to know everything about the track. This is a joke for a game of this type. So what ends up happening is that you see a turn, you start breaking, but there is no way to put your car to a full stop, the breaking distance goes on for seconds, so you end up hitting a wall on every sharp turn. In a good racing game, you can always at least completely stop your car and make a really slow turn, but it is completely impossible here. If they could fix this however, I think I would enjoy this game, because most other things about it are enjoyable enough for 8 bucks, but once again, if you can't even play the game it is not even worth buying. First time in my life that I felt that I wanted a refund on a video game.

This game is a lot of fun. Pros: The two best puzzlers ever in one game. Lot of cool settings which give you a lot of control of what kind of game you want to play. Cool that they have a story mode with full voice acting, even if the story is really bad and all over the place, I still appreciate the effort which makes the game feel more alive. It lets you skip it too, so it doesn't get in your way. Solid but not great unlockables, you can get new skins for the puzzle "blocks" Lots of music and stages to choose from. Cons: Tricky to play with the Joy Con sideways as you really need a directional pad There could be more unlockables The party mode is surprisingly bad. It used to be Tetris Wii, DS and 3DS biggest strengths. Here it is very limited. Fortunately the standard modes are really good.

This game is a lot of fun but has a few problems, some of which can probably be fixed soon. Pros: The game has a lot of good players, both old and new(I still haven't unlocked them all). The game is fun 2 on 2 Basketball, which should always be a fun time. Cons: So Shaq shooting 3's like there is no tomorrow needs to be fixed. Players who can't shoot 3's shouldn't be able to sink them so easily. Same should go for all players and their strengths-weaknesses. Part of what makes a game like this fun should be that it is easy to pick up, but hard to master. Using players strengths and weaknesses is one of those things which you should be able to use to your advantage when trying to master the game. Stealing the ball feels completely random. Getting "Perfect Shots" which gives you extra points feels even more random because the players animations change all the time, making it hard to know what a Perfect Shot is. Once you beat all tourneys and challenges, there is basically no way to get more player cards other than to grind away with regular games. You can speed this process up by playing first to 10 on rookie, but the game shouldn't feel like a chore to unlock players, it should be part of playing and having fun. Some players seem to be missing. Hopefully DLC could fix this, but I also understand if it has to do with licensing and whatnot. Where is: Klay Thompson Dennis Rodman Michael Jordan Manu Ginobli Tony Parker Tim Duncan Eddie Jones Ben Wallace Rasheed Wallace Ed Curry Richard Hamilton Charles Barkley Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Kobe Bryant Derek Fischer I get that they can't have all these, but MJ, Rodman, Kobe, Jabbar and Duncan feels pretty essential for a game like this. So hopefully they can get some DLC. Other than these things, the game is pretty fun and for the price it's well worth it if you like basketball games, or even if you don't I'd say.

I own the Wii U version with all the DLC. This one is objectively better and reason enough to get a Switch in my opinion because you can play it on the go. It really is so much fun. The Battle Mode along with most things except car parts being unlocked from the get-go is great. I also love that you can have 2 items at once now. I really wish they would add more DLC however. There are so many ol school stages I miss like the DK stage from Double Dash, one of the Bowser Castles from both 3DS(SNES) and DS. The 3DS Mii Sports/Pilot Wings stages. I mean, you could easily add another 16 awesome stages, and I'd happily pay another 40 bucks for them. Please Nintendo, give us 4 stage packs for 10 bucks each. You don't even need to make a new MK in the future, just keep adding stages to this one, it's really that awesome!

Amazing game! I wish there were more games like this. It is a 2D Metroidvania type game where you are this space shooter guy who goes around and collect power ups to become stronger. Many power ups in this game however aren't ever lasting, but simply short-term. It is really simple to pick up and play, it has a really fun jet-pack mechanic which lets you fly all the time. It is a must have if you own a DS or 3DS.

This is my most played game on my 3DS and by far my most played game series on my 3DS. The Master League Mode is perfect to play on the go as you can build your team and look at stats from pervious seasons to create that history with your team, and you can also play the Be a Pro mode which lets you develop one player and see how far you can get. It is a very deep game with a lot of different modes to play. The fact that they added South American Champions League just makes it even more amazing! The downsides are that you can't use the South American teams outside of that CL Tournament. Another downside is that it can be difficult to loan out your players during Master League, sometimes. You can also not see how the "D2" division 2, under your own league is doing, in regards of what teams are leading and what players are playing well there. Lob passes have weird physics too. But still, this game is amazing, and I can't stop playing it to this day. If you like football/soccer and have a 3DS, this is a must have, period.

Listen, this game is actually a masterpiece, but the only thing holding it back is itself. I played it and had the best time ever, it was close to a perfect score in my opinion, but then - the game started crashing. You lose 2 hours of progress, then end up saving every 5 minutes, then you think its working fine until - the game crashes on you again. The amount of times the game crashed is nuts. It is so unfinished it makes Sonic 06 look like an aircraft that anyone would happily board. Other than that, the gameplay is just FANTASTIC. The exploring, the openess, the humor, the characters. This game needs to fix all its bugs and get re-released as the masterpiece it should be. It is honestly one of the best RPG's I've ever played besides from the crashes. Even with the crashes, it was going OK. But eventually it just got so ridiculous. At this point, every time I try to jump in, I play for like 5 minutes, then the game crashes, so there is no way for me to even progress. It might be better on the Wii U.

Great game. Amazing atmosphere with a story that makes you want to keep playing more and more. The thing that I love the most about the game, and a deal breaker for me was, the fact that you could play the story mode CO-OP. That is probably the only real reason that I really got into the game in the first place!

The true sequel to Sonic & Knuckles. Great 2D Platformer that understands that the Sonic gameplay isn't all about speed, but exploration which this game does wonderfully by rewarding you for patience while it still lets you go full speed if you so prefer. The biggest thing for me in this game are the memorable characters and the story which is simply amazing. It is a little confusing at first to follow exactly what is going on, but it still works well, and by your second playthrough you'll for sure understand it better. And yes, you will want to play through the game many times with the different characters, the game is that good. The best thing with the story is that it constantly motivates you to keep playing just to see what will happen. The music is also GREAT. Without doubt, this is a Master Piece in pretty much every way possible, I don't think I can think of any real complain, honestly.

This game is probably the best Mario Game ever made. Could there be improvements? For sure, but all in all, it makes you want to play it constantly, and its easy to get lost in it, not realizing for how many hours you've played. If you are on the fence, don't be, buy a Wii U and play this, because it is undoubtedly one of the best video games ever made!

Mario Party 89
Aug 10, 2013
Another great multiplayer game in another great Mario Party! I dont understand when reviewers give the series low scores because "The games are only decided by randomness and luck" First of all, that is a lie. It is true that you can get very lucky and win because of it, but that is part of how the game works. Secondly however, that is: There is a CHANCE that you can get lucky and win, it doesnt mean that is the majority of the games. There is a lot of strategy and planning, but generally, you will get an advantage by winning a lot of mini games. It is BS to call this game bad, and say it is solely based on luck. Must buy for Wii, 9 out of 10!

I do not understand why people complain so much about this game. This is a great Star Fox game, I have only played the 64 remake on 3DS along with the SNES one. It is by far better than the 64 one. The combat on foot is a lot of fun, and multiplayer is GREAT! 7 out of 10, since it could be longer.

Amazing entry in the Mario Kart series. The gimmick in this game is that you are two characters in one car. It works very well. The characters have their own special items and cars they can use, so that creates a great dynamic. The tracks in this game are amazing as well. If you need a GameCube game for multiplayer, this one is a must have. 9 out of 10!

Very solid entry in the series. It has the good ol' Mega Man jump n' shoot feel to it. Cool and entertaining story that doesn't spoil the action. One complaint is the annoyance brought from the map system which is close to non-existent. A lot of times you end up running around exploring to figure what you are even looking for. A solid platformer worth playing though. 7 out of 10.

It lacks the real "Sonic Feel" from his days of glory, but is nevertheless a solid platformer. If you like Sonic games, this one is fun and atleast lets you play with our favorite blue hedgehog. But the flaws are simply the feel of the game, and its more of a "speed runner" rather than platformer, which was the biggest strength of the original Sonic games for the SEGA Genesis. 6 out of 10 however.

Why this game isnt out in the E-Shop any more confuses me beyond belief. This might be one of the best Zelda games. It leaves a lot of untouched potential, like online play, and maybe more levels. But it is still amazing! It is Zelda, with emphasis on multiplayer! No online, few levels, the game not being available anymore, along with levels maybe being a little bit to long without possibility to save bring the game down from 10 to 9 in my opinion. I have never been a big fan of Metroid 3D games. This one is OK for me as the other ones. Maybe its because Im not a big fan of first person shooters in general. Pokemon White Version9
Aug 4, 2013
Pokemon White, along with black adds a lot of awesome features to the Pokemon franchise, along with even more new pokemon. I find this game amazing as every other Pokemon game. But even though it is a must buy, it somehow removes a lot of simple commands with the menus from HeartGold, along with the way you can interact with the touch screen to manage items and menus quicker. It might sound like a minor thing, but along with the fights having a kind of slow startup, the game many times feels like it lacks the pace HeartGold seemed to have. Because Pokemon is after all an RPG with fun grinding, exploring, item collecting etc. and when you are doing a quest, errand or one of many day-time events, scrolling between menus, choosing "fly" back and forth changing the menu back to the bike, etc. becomes way more tedious than it should be. Its still an amazing game with all its new features, but it feels like it lack a little bit of magic from previous entries. 9 out of 10, and that comes from someone whos a HUGE fan of the franchise.

I enjoyed this game very much. Some of the things I disliked however was that some of the challenges of getting a certain grade at levels in order for unlockables were just way to hard for me. I'm not great at video games, but by no means anywhere below average either. These are some of the things that ruined the lasting appeal of it for me. It is still a very good game worth looking into. Not as good as Star Fox Assault for the GameCube however, which is my personal favorite in the series. 6 out of 10

Other than the fact that this game is so short. It is a MUST HAVE for the 3DS. The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave6
Aug 4, 2013
This is a quirky little RPG title for the 3DS that is very entertaining. It lets you catch "Denpa Men" through WiFi signals and you them to battle. Some of the layout makes preparation for battle a bit more cumbersome than it should be. Especially since you cant organize your things in the best manner. The game can also sometimes get a bit repetitive with the grinding. Still a really good game worth considering. 6 out of 10.

When I saw there was a version of Mario 64 on the DS I knew I wanted the system. This is the biggest reason I wanted a DS in the first place. This game is everything the 64 version is and then some, it also has a fun multiplayer, but the biggest addition is the inclusion of characters, Yoshi, Luigi and Wario with their own unique abilities. The controls arent ideal without a analog stick, but its a minor issue you will soon forget once you start playing this amazing game. Quite possibly the best game for the system 10 out of 10!

Aug 4, 2013
The first game I bought for my DS besides Pokemon and FIFA. An amazing Platformer/ Adventure/ RPG/ Action game with an awesome level of weapon/ ability customization. It has great visuals and an awesome, humorous dialogue. On the downside it can get repetitive when exploring to find new things and ways to get to some places, and if you are unlucky you can end up just scanning through everything to find what you are looking for which gets a bit boring. Also there is an element of grinding that can get annoying as well. Still a great game which deserves a 9 out of 10.

Mario Kart DS10
Aug 4, 2013
Like every other Mario Kart, this one is amazing as usual. Id say this might be the best one, maybe the second best after the Wii version. What makes it so good is, The tight controls and gameplay. The online which was introduced to the series along with this game. The multiplayer is amazing and where the game shines the most. The fact that its all on a handheld. Especially the simple customization within the multiplayer that gives you the option to decide how cups are structured is brilliant! The biggest downside is that they didn't balance the game mechanics well enough which has enabled something known as "snaking". That aside, its a perfect racer for the handheld. Easily a 10 out of 10 and recommended for everyone who likes good videogames.

Pokemon Conquest10
Aug 4, 2013
This Pokemon/ Nobunagas Ambition fusion might be the best out there for the DS. Realeased at the end of the systems life, while the 3DS had already been around, it helped both DS and 3DS owners with a great game when the 3DS was just starting to pick up its greatness. This game is a strategy game that uses the principles of the Pokemon games along with the Nobunaga gameplay. It is extremely addicting. As a matter of fact so addicting I stopped playing it because it took up all the time in my life. There is always something to do, and once you have completed one thing, there will be something new, whether it is evolving a pokemon, finding a certain item, recruiting a warrior or finding and catching a pokemon to create a perfect link wit a trainer. The only downside is probably that sometimes, all the things you have to do each round can become to much. Even with that it is a great game for every strategical RPG fan, and especially for Pokemon fans. If you are new to the genre I recommend it as well as it is extremely well made. Perfect 10 out of 10!

Kid Icarus: Uprising10
Aug 4, 2013
This might be the best 3DS game released so far. A totally original shooter with amazingly humorous dialogue that you never get tired of. An endless level of customization when it comes to weaponry and items. Some people have complained about the controls. I personally believe its because they havent figured out the technique yet, because I haven't had a single problem. Even when playing on the go its no problem as you can hold the system in one hand and steer with the stylus in the other one. The online is really good, but I wish it could have been better still. I wish it could let you save opponents and create hubs, and just generally have more customization and stats. This game already has tons of lasting appeal, but that would certainly make it endless for real. A MUST HAVE for 3DS owners though! 10 out of 10!

Mario Kart 77
Aug 4, 2013
Just like every other Mario Kart, this is a great multiplayer experience. However, what hinders this game from getting a perfect 10 and me, still preferring to play the old "Mario Kart DS" instead, is the simple lack of the "Settings" option that exists both on the Wii and DS version. What exactly am I talking about? Well, first off, let me have you know that, Graphics in this game are amazing, top notch. Online is the best in the series so far. Levels are maybe not THE best in the series, some of the new ones are fun, but I definitely miss some old ones, but that wouldnt keep them away from a perfect score in my opinion. So, to answer what I mean with this "Setting" stuff. In Mario Kart Wii as well as DS you can play multiplayer. When you do so, you can then choose the rules of how you play which are two simple choices "Wins" or "Races". This means if I play multiplayer with 5 friends, we can play a tournament, with the computer over 30 races if we wish. Or 2, or 8,15, you get it, whatever we want. Now however, some genius at Nintendo decided to remove this option, limiting us to 4 race tournaments. There is nothing wrong with a classic 4 race tournament of Mario Kart. But the question is, why remove the option? I who personally love to play a cup of 8 races with my brothers and friends can now not do that. And another thing is when playing the "Communites" online, I can there also, only play 4 races, but now without any computers, which mean I cant play an online tournament with one friend...unless its one on one races of course. Thats really not what Mario Kart is all about. Of course I can go and play against other humans with my brother, and keep track of where we are placed. But video games are a lot about immersion, and that kind of ruins it. This is why I now have gone back to Mario Kart DS when racing on my handheld with friends. Great game, but a simple setting is what has taken away the lasting appeal along with the perfect 10 to a 7 out of 10 with this rating system.

Pushmo6
Aug 4, 2013
I have never been big on puzzlers. So maybe that's why I didn't enjoy Pushmo (Or Pullblox as its called in Europe) as much most others seemed to. At the start of the game, the puzzles are simple and very fun to solve. Naturally as you progress they become more challenging. One confusing thing I have noticed is that the way they rank difficulty on the puzzles is very inconsistent as some ones labeled as difficult can be rather easy and vice versa. Anyhow, that is but a minor detail in the game. What I find stops me from giving the game a higher grade and buying the sequel is the fact that I just didn't have that much fun playing it. The graphics are good, the dialouge is funny, the puzzle mechanics are very original. But I just simply didn't have very fun with it, and had to force myself to grind through the end of it just because I wanted to finish it all. Maybe its like I mentioned, I'm simply not big on puzzlers. I do recommend this game for people who like puzzle games and solving tricky things. If you are like me, and arent a big fan of puzzle games, then youre probably better off getting something else. 6 of 10 in my book.

The first game for the 3DS to really make the 3D essential. Really good graphics with great gameplay and feel of 3D Mario Games. There is not a lot of bad things to say about this game. In general everything is great. It can be frustrating at times, but just like with the majority of Mario games, it gets frustrating because of you, not because of the game. Fortunately, or maybe in this case unfortunately, the instances where it gets frustrating are not very many because this is a very easy game. Some of the stages later on can get a bit tougher, but even with extra content unlocked, this game lasted me about 22 hours. + Great visuals and 3D + Fun Gameplay + Easy to play on the go + Classic Mario greatness - Very short game Despite the game being short, this is still a 10 using this rating system.
