Battlefield REDSEC

Battlefield 6 expands its arsenal with two new modes that bring the heat. The REDSEC battle royale brings all-out warfare to a bigger arena wreathed in flames. It’s a vast improvement from its previous iteration, although Solo and Trio matchmaking options would be appreciated. Gauntlet is an entirely new Battlefield experience that adds some additional fire and flair to the competitive FPS genre, keeping players on their toes every round. PTFO!

After catching a few wins across all three of its main queues, Battlefield REDSEC’s slow-rolling storm just hasn’t done much to keep me wanting more aside from introducing a few interesting missions here and there. It’s enjoyable, sure, but its adaptation doesn’t mesh well with the pace and epic scale that makes Battlefield 6’s regular multiplayer so much fun. But where REDSEC’s battle royale only dilutes that formula, the Gauntlet mode that lives alongside it instead boils down and concentrates the best stuff from both Battlefield and battle royales at large into one of the coolest game modes I’ve seen from a military shooter in a long time. I hope EA and DICE plan on fleshing it out as part of their Battlefield 6 roadmap, because while I may not be interested in playing more of its battle royale, I am certainly interested in more Gauntlet.

The new battle royale isn't without its missteps or annoyances, but it's a solid start that feeds your appetite for destruction.

O jogo é realmente excelente. A jogabilidade é bem equilibrada, valorizando tanto a precisão da mira quanto a inteligência durante as partidas. A mobilidade também é muito bem dosada — sem exageros de parkour como em seu concorrente, mas ainda assim ágil e frenética, mantendo o ritmo intenso característico do jogo. Ele combina o melhor dos elementos de Battlefield com a dinâmica envolvente de um battle royale, resultando em uma experiência de jogo simplesmente incrível

Battlefield REDSEC is a production that started with the right ideas but didn't quite reach its goal. It needs a little more time to find its footing with the battle royale genre, but thanks to the Gauntlet mode and mission system, it's worth seeing how this experiment continues.

This game is shockingly bad it's either broken or completely rigged. TTK makes this game unplayable simple as that..

I've just completed all the achievements from REDSEC yesterday (and I started at launch), and some where absolutely not fun: Special mention to the 1988 revived trophy that is really frustrating to do the normal way because a lot of random players just give up when they are downed even if you tell them you will revive them with defibs on. I just ended up grinding that in an elevator cage , it was faster but still took something like 50-100h to do! I spent so much of my small playtime trying to unlock all the achievements that I forgot how it feels to play the normal game. Then you have some cosmetics that were added during this season that are really questionable and immersion breaking (REDBULL cosmetics ...) Now I'm gonna take a break of that game and I hope that the achievements, challenge and contents of season 2 will have something that was missing in REDSEC: FUN!
