Fun and addictive.

Asphalt Overdrive is an interesting spin-off to the popular arcade racing series, an endless-like action game with a good number of missions, cars and modes.

Asphalt Overdrive can entertain you for a few minutes, but is too soulless to impress.

Asphalt Overdrive is a deluxe offering that still is a bit lifeless when playing making it worth considering depending on your affinity for the Asphalt series.

It's not exactly Asphalt, but Overdrive is bright and bold enough that you'll enjoy it for a while at least.

Asphalt Overdrive may get your blood pumping for several minutes, but unless you want to pay for the privilege, the races are over within the blink of an eye.

Asphalt Overdrive's cool 80s vibe, classic cars and different modes will keep people interested, but its stamina system and in-app purchases hold it back from greatness.

It looks good and it's fun for a while, but unless you're willing to play online and happy with the monetization system, there are better options.

All of these systems combined make for a game that's unfriendly to the point of being opposed to the player, when it could have been so much more fun if turned down the heat a bit.
