ARK: Survival Ascended

Big score for me i like it to play like minecraft style in more realistic Thx for that game i wasnt really sure what im about to buy finally it's the best game

From Evolved to Ascended we needed to see a hugeimprovements in all aspects from graphics to gameplay and AI. Understanding it's still quite early, but so far it has been a good run. There has been many good upgrades to ARK, from graphics to new Dino AI, they don't feel completely mindless creatures running around. With the addition to the community mods makes the game easily more enjoyable. The largest falt so far is framerate, with no option to set it to performance, many areas it just drags and loses appeal. I'm sure in future updates it will get better.

A ideia do jogo é muito boa. Ele te dá bons momentos de diversão, mas as compras no jogo (expansões) não são legais. Mods são uma boa adição ao PS5. Poderia ter um gráfico melhor, por ser de console de última geração.

Ark Survival Ascended é frequentemente elogiado, mas essas críticas geralmente se referem ao Ark Evolved. O Ascended sofre com muitos bugs e problemas técnicos. Para quem busca uma boa história, ele até possui uma lore, porém nada muito marcante. O grande destaque continua sendo a domesticação de dinossauros, já que em construção, por exemplo, Minecraft faz isso muito melhor. Recomendo muito mais o Ark Evolved, onde minha nota subiria facilmente para um 7. Se você gosta de lore, construção, domesticação e não se importa com bugs, pode até se divertir, ainda mais com os gráficos lindos. Mas um aviso é essencial: evite comprar as DLCs.

TLDR; this is not a game, this is a collection of bugs. Avoid at all costs unless Ark fanatic. Game looks really good, especially compared to old Ark. Performs better than I feared, still bad though; 60-90 fps on the beach on RTX 4080 and Ryzen 5600X 32Gb, with DLSS on ultra performance. Update: I now have a 7800X3D CPU and didn't get a single frame more it seems. Now that is bad. Runs a little cooler and more fluid but holy sock... probably not a single frame more. Wildcard have unreal engine at their disposal but they still utterly fail at delivering a working game. Hoping fully it will get better with years just like old Ark eventually did. But man are these guys baaaaad at coding... Crashes have luckily been pretty scarce with the most recent patches (can often play the whole night without a single crash), but screen freezes when crashing if running on full screen mode and have to cold boot windows. Also noteworthy is the apparent greed of the publisher/server renter Nitrado (whom are financing the publishers and have monopoly on server rents), you can only have a minimum of 20 slot server and so the minimum price is also around 20€ a month to play on a proper (your own rented) server. I know they are in dire straits financially, and it shows. Monetizing so bad. If they fix the crashing, all the old (that were supposed to be gone) and new bugs I might give it a better rating. But odds are I won't, since Wildcard said at first this will be free for Ark owners so them going back on their gift has the effect of me not being able to recommend any of their products, perhaps ever again. It is just that insulting, lying to your face. Add to that the new Ark Ascended has been out for some time now and the way it has been going it is highly likely this will never get truly properly polished, just like old Ark never really did but even worse. Far worse. Wildcard just does not seem to have the know-how, that much is painfully apparent. Their new ownership likely isn't helping things, either. It's a great concept and a good time sink nevertheless. If you can live with all it's shortcomings, it can be a lot of fun hours. Still hard to recommend. You also pretty much _need_ your own server, unofficial ones tend to have so many mods (which, in a game that is working barely as it is, are a really really bad idea) and ridiculous rates, and the official servers are hacker heavens plus, at least here in Finland, today, there is not a single official server with a ping under 120. Needless to say, playing with a ping of 120 is totally unacceptable, not to mention trying to do pvp. Not that Nitrado servers would have any better ping, but at least you won't have to suffer hackers. And even the official servers have mods. The engine also makes your cpu AND gpu run super hot, way over acceptable limits. This game is pretty much nothing short of a scam and a prime example of the predatory ways the gaming industry goes these days, all the while underlining how meaningless you as a customer truly are. "Re-imagined from the ground up!" <--- whenever you hear a dev say that, you _know_ it is going to be utter you know what. I have been coming back to this game every few months. It's basically just not getting better. More microtransactions, and runs poorer. Such a scam. Final word; the devs are known to play on official servers and abuse other players. Let that sink in... horrible people. Such a shame as done properly this would be epic, it is somewhat unique.
