Arc Raiders is the first extraction shooter that truly feels built for everyone. It blends tension, atmosphere, and unexpected humanity into a world that begs you to risk it all for one more haul. Arc Raiders captures the magic that made us fall in love with multiplayer in the first place. It’s polished, accessible, and impossible to put down. This is truly one of the year’s absolute best.

Multiplayer game of the decade. Not many others come close. The only downside is the lack of endgame, but maybe it's okay to take a break between resets?

After The Finals, Embark Studios hits the mark again, releasing not only one of the best extraction shooters on the market, but also one of the most interesting games of the year. With robotic enemies as bad as ever, gorgeous maps, and a remarkably accessible loot system, ARC Raiders manages to be the first entry in the genre truly accessible to everyone, even running flawlessly on consoles. The only unknown remains post-launch support, but the roadmap published by the developers is promising, with an additional map already arriving in the next few days. In the meantime, see you above ground.

The extraction game offers a striking vision of what the Earth could become if we continue to wage wars and allow machines to dominate. However, if you want to survive, you must be inconspicuous. It's a shame that some things are not explained well enough and that the quests are so trivial.

Rich PvE combat and an unusually friendly community make Arc Raiders a more approachable extraction shooter than most, but Embark Studios' continued use of AI voice generation is a black mark against its reputation.

ARC Raiders is absolutely worth the money. Coming from many hours in Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown, I can say that the extraction shooter genre remains one of the most intense and exciting in modern shooters.
Gameplay & Atmosphere:
The rule here is simple: if you think you saw something — you probably did. Even a tumbleweed rolling nearby can make you aim down sights, because danger can come from anywhere. The constant tension feels great and keeps every moment engaging.
Since the game is played from a third-person perspective, sneaky kills are much harder to pull off, which reduces the prevalence of stealth camping. Although yes — exit camping with mines does exist.
Community & Developer Attitude:
The developers clearly care about their community. Players aren’t punished for encountering or accidentally using bugs, and fixes usually come pretty fast. There was even a situation with premium currency prices — instead of rolling back, the devs let players keep what they got. It’s nice to see a team openly acknowledging and owning their mistakes.
About AI Usage:
Some people criticize the game for using AI-assisted content, but this is stated openly on the Steam page: procedural and AI tools are used to assist development, while all final creative direction comes from the team. The “AI voice acting” complaints also feel exaggerated — you’ll mostly hear brief lines and death sounds. It doesn’t hurt immersion at all.
Final Verdict:
I don’t regret a single minute or cent spent on ARC Raiders. It’s a fun and dynamic co-op extraction shooter with a great atmosphere and strong potential. But playing solo gets boring pretty fast — bring two or three friends for the best experience.

"As I play the game, my resentment and anger toward a specific country **** unspoken in-game etiquette of 'Don't shoot' is met with betrayal and abandonment, and 30 minutes of runtime are lost in an instant. Instead of saying 'Don't shoot' to each other, just shoot. This is the 'humanity' that pretends to cooperate and then immediately tries to kill you once you're weakened.I have blocked over 50 Japanese IDs on Steam.While hunting an Ark together, if I get hit by the Ark, the other player's gun barrel immediately points at me. If they intended this while making the game... I have nothing to ****: 9/10 (Good graphics quality, gun sound, and Ark AI are good)PVEVP: 2/10 (AI and player difficulty are hell)The game is fun, but my personality is getting worse; it's a game that makes me feel like I'm playing League of Legends."

El juego castiga mucho y recompensa poco a quien quiere jugar unas partidas en solitario. Perder todo porque alguien de mala leche te campea en los puntos de extracción es bastante común de hecho se ha vuelto una práctica para jugadores que se divierten haciendo eso. Entiendo que quieren que tambien sea un PVP y no me molesta pero deberían implementar medidas como no subir daño de otros jugadores en en spawn o puntos de extracción o penalizaron para evitar que mas gente siga la táctica de solo esperar quienes ya farmeraron por el mapa para robarles todo en el último instante. O bien dejarte conservar tus cosas si mueres en una situación así.

This game is sure pretty and the Beginner game play ( as long as you stay in the absolute low level) is nice... THE SECOND you try to do anything that will give you a blueprint you are screwed.. TOXICITY in this game is on another level.. The you tube streamers wont tell you this, as the HYPE is now ARC raiders and they have to keep the dream alive. Makes them those $$$$ This is a game that makes you hate gaming as there is always someone waiting to remove you from a server no matter what.. the game is good for about 5 hours.. there after you are going to either have to spend to compete or hate life.

First few days this was easily 8.5/9 it was really fun and an amazing experience but it did become shallow after a few weeks. What made the game really good for me was the community at the beginning. Solos was amazing because it was exploring a brand new world, doing quests/killing the first arcs/going to every single location in all maps while meeting a lot of random people doing the same and knowing that at any moment you could get killed by someone was really fun. There was a perfect balance in PvE and PvP, now after a few weeks as everyone progressed it slowly became a Battle Royale experience and in that regard the game doesn't really shine. Desync it's very annoying (was far worse first days) Gun Balance has been a problem, Sound effects are really good and well done but then also at the same time Audio can be really bad (You can listen to an arc miles away from you but footsteps of a raider close by are non existent) Cheaters are becoming more common (sometimes you get the loot back, not always specially in trios/duos one of your friends get it but not everyone, still better than nothing).
Spawns are bad, specially on Stella Montis.
