Thanks to a well-rounded game principle peppered with charming details, Amber Isle has nothing to hide. The team has clearly taken care to deliver a clean job. Highly recommended.

Like Animal Crossing, but Ambertail Games made the 200 IQ decision to allow you to be one of the critters. While the gameplay loop can be repetitive, especially in long sessions, if you're in the Venn diagram overlap of dino and AC fans it hits like a species-expunging asteroid.

Je l'ai acheté sur switch... 20€ et je suis très déçu. Graphismes dignes de la Nintendo DS. Ça reste mignon, mais le gameplay est enfantin et il y a tellement de texte partout que ça ne convient absolument pas pour les enfants... Presque 2h de tutoriel et en plus y a énormément de ralentissement. Puis le gameplay à la manette est franchement pas terrible.

I was always going to pick up Amber Isle, so I was very happy to review it. Even though it has a few bugs related to the camera and UI, as well as some progression issues to be worked out, I know I'll be spending a lot more time in my shop crafting items to sell to my dinosaur customers. There’s a lot to like about Amber Isle and the team at Ambertail has tried its best to create a wholesome experience. All of these adorable dinos will be my friend before I’m through here, even the grumpy mayor.

Amber Isle is a wholesome game where you manage a shop and restore an island, offering a relaxing and varied gameplay experience. With the story, you unlock new areas and friendly dinosaurs. Which are incredible charming and steal the show. While the progressions is well-balanced, the game can feel repetitive in the beginning. Along with the occasional bugs and missing quality of life-features the game has its flaws.
