AI LIMIT shines in its world design, dark setting, and strategic combat, offering a worthy challenge for fans of the soulslike genre. However, its high difficulty (and consequently recurring deaths) can be frustrating for some players. Issues such as translation errors and bugs also prevent a more refined experience. Still, for those looking for a challenging and engaging RPG, AI LIMIT delivers a rewarding experience.

Closer to Stellar Blade than Code Vein, this anime soulslike does new things with the genre's tropes. Its addictive gameplay loop, stark architecture and world design, swift rewarding combat, and manageable runtime combine into an action title worth your interest.

If you value exploration in your Soulslikes more than any other aspect then you'll absolutely love the intricate and rewarding stage designs in AI LIMIT. However, if you want brutal and visceral combat then you should look elsewhere.

Despite its limitations, AI Limit excels at what matters, which is why it's been a pleasant surprise. Obviously, it's not the best soulslike game in the world, nor the most innovative, but it doesn't need to to be as enjoyable as any other.

In the absence of other and more impressive Soulslikes, AI Limit could definitely step in and fill a void. It gets the basics right and even iterates in some enjoyable ways. Fans of sci-fi anime and those bored with gothic fantasy will appreciate AI Limit’s setting and theme. While the combat is nothing special, it’s still undeniably fun, if awfully familiar. In a genre absolutely brimming with better choices, it’s hard to recommend AI Limit, but players coming to it with reasonable expectations will have a good time.

AI Limit is, at best, an okay Soulslike experience. The combat provides some enjoyable moments, especially when experimenting with different weapons, but the game is ultimately held back by its uninspired world and weak main story. If you’re a die-hard fan of the genre and are willing to overlook its shortcomings, you might find something to enjoy here. But for most players, AI Limit fails to stand out in a sea of better, and now cheaper alternatives.

If you are a mud enthusiast, then you’ll find a lot to love about AI Limit and will likely see it through to completion. If, like the rest of us, you’re ambivalent about mud, then AI Limit doesn’t do nearly enough with its combat, nor with its world-building, to keep you playing for long.

I bought this one this friday to get the sale on PSN it is not in the same level of khazan the first berserker but it is not a bad game or Souls-Like counting the price also I wanna thank that only looks like code vein because that it's no for me. I just hope devs. Could fix those annoying frame drops

**** OK. Like it's not absolute garbage but I dunno It feels like they took Code Vein then tried to put Halo Controls on it. It may be a small thing, but every game around the same genre, Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus, Stellar Blade, Ys.... square attack, Triangle Heavy Attack, Circle dodge.... and yet these guys have decided to literally be trigger happy, everything revolves around the triggers which becomes messy. L2+R2 for Spell... ok, you have to hit L2 first, they R2, if you hit R2 first you do a heavy attack. You cant block and counter, only one or the other since their part of the skill palette. Which is just weird, you can't pick what best for the situation in the moment, you have to know ahead of time, especially for boss fights. Maybe that's a thing in other "Souls" game. Overall the controls feel janky and un-intuitive. At least the story makes up for it right?... uh no. I'm a few hours in and except for the branches looking like and acting like Code Veins Mistle..... um... I have absolutely no Idea WTF is going on outside of everything apparently wanting to kill me, why? I dunno. Voices are mid, like their not nails on a chalkboard but also take away rather than add to the experience. Top that off with the absent character customization, and the bonus pre-order items become useless an hour into the game since theirs no looks, everything is based off your equipment, and you find better equipment shortly into the game. So much for that. Like that cute ponytail... to bad instead your going to use that hood you just found with better stats I really wanted to like this game,it looked good in the ps store.

Wenig Abwechslung in Sachen Umgebung und Gegner. Hat den Titel Souls Like nicht verdient. Teils wirklich schlechte Kameraführung, Fähigkeiten werden einfach geändert und ultra schlechte Balance. Für n 10er im Sale irgendwann aber ok.
