Again is a peculiar game. It gets close to an interactive novel, and it can catch the player's attention with a splendid story and some interesting characters.

By the time the game ends, well after you wish it had, and with a cliff-hanger no less, you'll be more than happy to have it over, and not because a murderer's reign of terror has ended, but because your time with the game has.

This is a murder mystery game with a couple of interesting twists. You can like see the past and use that to help you with your case. This, with the 3d crime scene investigations makes for an interesting concept. The writing, for a visual novel game, is almost so bad it's good and they tried to use stop motion for most of the game. It's just funny to laugh at.

An intriguing story and the visual flair are still there but the usual Cing problem of mundane, glued-on gameplay still stands. Again is an excellent murder mystery but one that would work better as a novel rather than an interactive novel.
