Accel World vs Sword Art Online uses the base from “Sword Art Online: Lost Song” with an upgrade in both graphics and some playability aspects. It’s not revolutionary but the combination from this with the amount of characters from both series makes this an interesting title which will be a nice option to their fans.

Accel World vs. Sword Art Online is a fairly magnificent little JRPG that surprised me with its depth of characters and customizable options within, and a world where I can fly, explore, and battle dozens of monsters along the way. I’m reminded so much of the golden PlayStation 2 era of JRPG gaming, with all the good and some of the bad that comes with that distinction. Overall, Accel World vs. Sword Art Online is a very solid JRPG title and one that any fan of the genre will enjoy.

I really enjoyed Millennium Twilight, even without any sort of attachment to the anime that the game represents. It’s nothing particularly revolutionary, but I thoroughly enjoyed most of my time with it. Moments of confusion and the unintentional nerfing of most Brain Burst characters aside, this is a fun action RPG that is worth a look if you’re not a fan of these MMO anime series, and most likely worth a buy if you are.

Fun and direct, Accel World vs. Sword Art Online is an interesting crossover that offers dozens of hours of intense gameplay, flying skills and an intense story with hours of static dialogues on screen.

It’s also helped tremendously by the addition of Accel World characters, as they immediately caught my attention.

The story is fun and is one any veteran or newbie of this series will enjoy. The multiplayer adds lots of fun to the title and adds so much more time to the game if you enjoy it. The environments are bland and boring but overall this game is worth picking up just for the story alone.

This is an RPG aimed at a very particular audience, but if you're aware of its limitations, we think you will enjoy it.

Accel World vs. Sword Art Online is not a bad game at all; actually I enjoyed it more than some of the previous games based on the series like Lost Song or Hollow Fragment. That being said, it doesn't stand as a memorable game by any means, but just as an entertaining action title. Nothing more nor less. Recommended for diehard fans of the series.

By providing a serviceable story as a driving force and then honing in on meaningful character interactions, Millennium Twilight becomes essential for Reki Kawahara fans. Those unfamiliar with both properties may occasionally find themselves occasionally mystified by plot points and fanservice alike, but hopefully this game will serve as a gateway drug.
