Digger – while not irredeemably awful – is ultimately a big disappointment.

A tricky uncomfortable story, Primetime is unsettling but worth the effort.

Another bitingly funny, bracingly tough feature with top performances that’ll leave you with plenty to ponder once the end credits roll.

Admittedly, even a not-quite-prime Evil Dead entry is entertaining enough, especially taken in isolation. But as a follow-up to a five-star horror riot, this film is slightly disappointing.

There’s an impressively strong cast throughout but Blunt is a stand-out. She continues her fine run of form in a role that requires a great deal from her. The real star is the director, though.

It’s an entertaining trip to a galaxy far, far away that proves there’s still cinematic life in this universe.

When Campbell, Cox or both are on screen, Scream 7 is at its best. Campbell now is as indefatigable a scream queen as Jamie Lee Curtis in the Halloween series, while Weathers is probably Cox’s greatest role, even if the Friends faithful prefer Monica Geller. So, even an average Scream film is worth seeing for the dark thrills and bloody spills we can depend on. Just don’t expect to be wowed.

A lively, in-depth examination of the fascinating and important heavy metal icons, this Ballad is well worth listening to.

With a uniformly impressive cast, spectacular scenes of carnage and the unshakeable feeling that anything could happen, this zombie franchise is as thrilling as it’s ever been. It’s well worth taking a trip to The Bone Temple.

It’s enjoyable enough. It’s also a real treat to watch a Marvel film that doesn’t depend on viewers having seen a dozen other films and TV shows.
