I submitted for a refund after about two hours. The game is a mess. Everyone else has already low-lighted the problems, but damn the game looks great and it feels like a **** game that some janky K-pop tweakers made. The straw that broke the camels back was the first abyss puzzle which just felt **** unintuitive. My wife was listening to me play and she said, "It doesn't sound like you're having fun". She was right. Clean up your mess devs. Hopefully this has a resurgence like Cyberpunk.

These reviews make me think all the reviewers are bought and paid for. I just don't get it. I have a 5090 video card and at max settings the game looked terrible. Plus, I'm a massive DS fan and love soulslikes, but the first boss yamagata masakage was too freakin hard. I mean I literally sat there for 3 hours fighting it over and over....even leveled up 3 levels fighting the mob out front with the grave summons for exp. Still couldnt beat it. I'll say it again. I'm a masochist when it comes to games and like a challenge, but this was ridiculous.

Wanted to like it, but it's just a shallow game with not a lot of skill (none really) involved. Once again they completely dropped the ball by not having upgrades to your gear. It could have been better lightsabers, jumping higher, swinging faster, **** I am saying is for the first two hours the game was completely on rails, and then it got to an open world where the lack of upgrade incentives made me wish it was back on rails. Imagine Elden Ring reskinned as Star Wars. That's a game I would have loved to play. This felt like a hollow game devoid of purpose and soul. Would have loved to have gotten my money back after an hour.... P.,S. it either ran like **** (Quality mode) or looked like **** and ran barely ok (performance mode).

Might be my favorite souls type game of all time. So much fun and the build options are incredibly deep.
