So, i decided to give this game a chance. I mean, i like Jeff's work. He made GoW, do i need to say more? He also made Twisted Metal, an awesome game as well. So i download the game and first thing i noticed: Another game that wants to give that "Punk" vibe feeling...I have nothing against this, but it's not something really original. The last game i played like this was Sunset Overdrive... Anyway, i select tutorial and start to play. Now, keep this in mind, i am someone that likes to joke on other people...a lot. Even though i know how to keep my bearings and i never offend other players online or anything like that. This might sound like a stupid statement, but really...i kinda got bothered at how frequently the game tries too hard to treat you like an ****. Calling you names (even as far to offend our dear and beloved mothers) and it just felt...weird. It gave me the impression that i was playing a mod or something made by an 14-year old that just learned how to swear at people... Anyway, the gameplay it's solid. A lot of different weapons and special abilities from different characters, but **** is this something new? People that experienced games like TF2 or Overwatch are well aware of different characters with different abilities and such. not that this game is like any of these games i mentioned, they're not. But still...nothing really original. The weapons, though varied as they are, makes me feel like i'm playing Sunset Overdrive, which, in turn makes me feel like i'm playing Ratchet and **** i DEFINETELY prefer R&C over any of these games. After finishing the tutorial you can choose your character and customize his loadout and etc. however the game doesn't really give you a lot of explanation on how each character differs from the other besides some brief description with their special abilities and their Cons and Pros against other characters, so you'll have to test them by yourself and figure out how they play, which is not a bad thing...i think. Anyway, i finished the tutorial, chose my character and went to play online. Spent 2 or 3 min waiting for someone and the game puts me with other 2 players...i didn't really care about that because i thought it would be a free-for all **** i was wrong... The game puts me in one team - The Blue Team - and puts the other 2 guys together to fight against me. ......First match ever, in less than 20 minutes that i'm playing the game and i'm already playing Online against 2 other dudes that pretty much rekt me over and over and over and over again... No one joined my team mid-session because, as far as i can see there's not a lot of people playing this game online. That was enough reason to just quit the game and stop playing. Drawn to Death isn't an original game, nor it is funny or fun. It's a below average Third-Person Shooter with good but shallow mechanics and unexciting gameplay. Thankfully (or not) i got this game for "free" since i am (for now) a PS Plus member. Apparently SONY was aware of how average this game was to the point of throwing this at our face with this month's PS Plus free games. Once again Sony is treating us like idiots, maybe more so than a frog that constantly calls you an "Idiot" and a "D*ick" in this game when you play the Tutorial Section. I can't help but feel like i am truly an idiot, for spending my time downloading this abomination and for giving SONY my money for a whole year of PS Plus. + Art-Style is interesting. Nothing really exciting, however + Solid gameplay mechanics, even though they're not original at all + Weapon types are quite varied - Simple and shallow game-modes - Repetitive and boring gameplay - Do i need to be called a "D*ick" "A**hat" "Idiot" and "W*nker" at every 30 seconds? And worst of all, by the game itself and not the players???? - Uneven matchmaking that will definetely troll you more than the game itself - 2 vs 1 in my first match is not something that gave me a good impression of this game I'm being honest here. Don't buy this game. If you're a PS Plus member then give it a try, but i'll warning you: You'll likely regret it. Stick with your Battlefield, CoD, Uncharted or TLoU... Fanboys will surely hate my Review and Score...i couldn't care less.

I never thought i would say this, but for the first time ever i've played a FromSoftware game and i just hated it. Having played from Demon's Souls to DS3 i thought that this game would be awesome, and it is, to some extent. The graphics are beautiful, the atmosphere is quite good and the gameplay is quite fast, however this is the biggest flaw in this game. The combat is more frenetic and everything is fast, except you. Your character is still a slug compared to other enemies or bosses that can in quick sucession attack you 4-5 times without leaving you space to roll or evade their attacks. Also, this game forces you to fight against multiple enemies the whole time, something that the much despised DS2 do all the time. It's annoying and cheap since you can only lock into one enemy at time, you can't use lock on and hope to attack everyone without any problem, you might get lucky but most of the time you'll end up dead quickly because all enemies in this game are ferocious. Also, your character is just a blind moron that misses his/her attack almost everytime unless you're using the lock on. So most of the time when you have to fight against mobs you'll end up hitting the air more than the enemies themselves. The bosses in this game are boring and yawn-inducing. Not even one of them are actually interesting, which is weird since From never had a lot of problems with boss design. The game also stripped down a lot of RPG elements from Dark Souls or Demon's Souls. Gone are the weight system, the poise and etc. You can still level up your char but you'll end up investing only in three attributes: Vitality, Endurance and Strength because the other attributes don't really make a lot of difference to your character's overall stats. You also have less armor, weapons and items overall, which is disappointing and it feels just a lazy job from FS. You pick one weapon and just keep with it until the end because it's not worth to change it. Of course that the Trick System adds a more interesting interaction with all weapons and also add some strategy to this game. There's also magic, which is called Arcane here, but i never used and as far as i'm concerned is really gimmicky and just ridiculous, it doesn't work like it works in DS or Demon's Souls. The game is quite short and the journey itself is quite forgettable. I'm sure that most people don't ever come back again to this game after finishing it once or twice because of the length of the campaign, the scarcity of weapons and armors and etc. You can't create dozens of different builds because of the attributes limitations. The only thing that you can change is your weapon, the rest is just unecessary unless you want a big challenge playing with an only-arcane build or only-firearm build or **** thing that this game does quite well, though, it's killing you with cheap deaths. The sensation that i had while playing this game, specially at the last half of it, is the same feeling that i had while playing DS2, which is not a good thing. Simply put, the game starts quite hard but because the enemies are just too strong and the fact that BB forces you to use the "parry" attacks (here know as visceral attacks) makes the game harder and just an annoying festival of hit and miss attacks with wrong timed-shots happening almost everytime. After a while you start to upgrade your weapon and the firearm becomes almost useless to a extent. But after halfway throught the game you'll start to see something changing: Enemy placement. It seemed that FromSoftware wanted to use the same strategy as Yui did and decided to just place a bunch of enemies everywhere just to kill you over and over again. You'll start to see how hard the game becomes out of nowhere. You'll be surrounded and destroyed by 2 or 3 attacks from 4 or 5 enemies at once. This is not an exaggeration. If you pay attention to the game you'll see that almost never you'll experience framerate drops, but at the end of the game this will start to happen almost the whole time, because of how much enemies the developers put into a single area, just pay attention and you'll see. With a short campaign, uninspiring bosses, frustrating gameplay mechanics, less weapons, less armor, less optiions, less RPG and more hack and slash and cheap deaths, BloodBorne it's an annoying brat who wants all attention and everytime you have to let it win because he wants. It's a bad game and i'm reallyyyyy disappointed to spend my money with this game and its DLC. Just stick with DS3 on your PS4 and you'll be fine.

Super Mario Maker is a weird game. It tries to create something interesting to players by letting its community create hundreds of levels every day, which sounds really interesting, however this is also its weakness. For example, the game gives you the option to play what it calls "Courses" which is divided into 5 categories. One is exclusively used for official levels made by Nintendo itself and people from magazines such as Famitsu and etc. They tend to be quite easy and straighfoward, and at the end of the level you can earn a Mystery Mushroom, which can make Mario transform into a different character (Link, Wario, even Pokémons). You can use these mushrooms to make your levels more interesting. You can also choose to play 4 different type of courses: Easy Course, Normal, Expert and the new Super Expert courses. All this courses were made by the community, not Nintendo. And here's the main core of the game and that's when the whole thing starts to fall apart. You may find yourself playing a lot of interesting levels made by people. Levels that are challenging, engaging and sometimes punishing but not unfair. This is Super Mario Maker at its strongest. You really feel entertained playing this levels and you want to play more of ****, this is not frequent, actually you'll spend more time playing short, lazy and confusing levels that probably will make you want to throw your controller through the window. Unfortunately most levels are horribly made. They tend to drive you to door traps, unfair deaths and sometimes ask you to use a move so complex or hard to pull that only expert players can do, and you have no choice but to skip (Thank God for this option) these levels and try another one. Sometimes they are too easy to the point of being ridiculous. You pick up a invencibility star and run through dozens of enemies until you hit the final flag pole. You can see how lazy the person is to create something so dull and boring like that. And since the game picks random levels for you to play, there's no way to avoid these kind of unfair or boring levels. But you'll notice this the first half hour that you'll spend playing this game because, unfortunately, there are more boring levels than good ones in this game. Of course SMM is also about creating. And this is the most interesting part of the game. The tools that they provide you to create the levels are awesome. I never thought i'd like to use them so much. You can easily spend 2-3 hours elaborating a level and you can actually have fun creating them and then testing them. It's intuitive, easy to learn and really, you can do anything you want, basically. But be aware, after you upload the level don't expect to have many people playing it. I did 5 or 6 levels and each one had 3 or 4 people playing it. One week later, nothing has changed. Which means that soon my levels will be deleted and forgotten whereas people who made horrible levels managed to get at least 5 stars (the "Like" from SMM) or even more, it's frustrating. When you upload a level, the servers tries to put your level into one of the 4 types of courses, but the thing is, you have thousands of levels being made everyday, so sometimes your level will be forgotten and no one will be able to play, unless you have friends to help you out or if you beg on the internet asking anyone to play your level and to give you a star, otherwise you'll lose your levels really soon because Nintendo tends to delete levels that no one plays or ones that don't have many stars. All in all, Super Mario Maker tries to compete against the likes of LittleBigPlanet or even Project Spark. It succeeds? No. Because this game it's limited compared to the other two where you can create dozens of different things using a more flexible tool to create levels. It is entertaining? Yes, if you know the right codes to play the right levels, but if you try to play a whole course, especially Expert or Normal, you'll find a lot of frustrating and horribly made levels that only have the purpose to troll you as much as possible. And to me, challenging is different than trolling. When i play this game i want to play challenging levels that will make me a better player and feel accomplished not frustrated because of invisible blocks or death doors. And the creating tool is awesome, but you'll have to beg for people to play your levels, otherwise it will be deleted before you know it. At the end of the day i can't really recommend this game at all, apart from the creation tool where you'll have fun creating levels on you own, but that's it. Other than that you'll only find a half game here, an overpriced one. SMM is only as good as its players, and maybe that's why this game is so frustrating and boring, because many people don't know the meaning of having fun, just the meaning of trolling. So if the people who play this game are trolls, then of course the game will be nothing less. Super Mario Maker is the @TayandYou of the Wii U.
