The King of Fighters XIV10
Aug 24, 2016
SNK is back to finally get their focus back on fighting games with a large roster of varied characters that includes 18 new characters. It's a big triumph for old school SNK fans, to have a game so robust and so much fun.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition10

This MGS is probably the one with the most variety of Locales, enemies, activities, sidequests, and sidesystems that's ever existed. The boss fights are epic in scale, and the Character of Big Boss is finally explored as the Legendary Leader that created a Military Organization that could throw off the balance of the World. Story wise, it's very satisfying. Gameplay wise, it's fun. Graphic wise, it's a solid PS2 Game blown up to HD resolution. The fact that one can finally play this grand game without having to buy an overpriced Sony Handheld is just exactly what I needed. Play this game, it's probably the best Metal Gear game to date.

The King of Fighters XIII10

It's a vast improvement over it's predecessor in every possible sense. It closes the Ash Saga with flying colors with a heavy focus on story and character development. The quality and framecount of the characters' animations is only comparable to that of SF3, except in a higher resolution, and with optimized colors. The soundtrack is memorable going back to its rock and jazz roots. The gameplay is as fast paced and intricate as all KOFs have been, which may not be very accessible to casual gamers, but it's exactly what a fighting game aficionado would expect. Probably the best KOF XIII made until this day.

The King of Fighters 20069

The King of Fighters 2006, the sequel to KOF: Maximum Impact, continues the storyline from the previous installment. There's a lot of content, like character specific intros with voice dialog in both English and Japanese. All characters have 2 different outfits with 8 colors total, many of which are throwbacks and references of other characters in the SNK universe. The soundtrack is very memorable, as opposed to the OST of other KOFs during that same period. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the combo system is too loose, but otherwise any and every combo from the 2D games is here, and then some.
