I'm new to the franchise... but, this ain't a favorite. nice story, fun combat... for the most part, a few nice armor sets, fun characters... minus Kratos, good humor, deep emotions... but nowhere near a masterpiece. so many situational strategic runic attacks which are rendered useless by the fact that you can't switch them mid-fight. traps are so half-assedly done that they kill you when they shouldn't--like the crushing walls that kill you if you're just touching them like the one in Ivaldi's workshop where the chest is but has no opposing wall. only a few nice sets out of the bunch with NG+ dwindling that already small number down to 2 with one being only a reskin of The Travel's set (Falling Ash) Tyr's was at lest left alone... could've been improved but I lack any faith in your team's ability to do so . the few annoying puzzles on a few chests-challenge is fine but some are just annoying. the multiple targeting system an annoying joke--most games let you select multiple targets to hit. the inability to switch perks around was also annoying as some gear that may look good.... but, had lousy perks.( Aris's and Zeus's, specifically). irrelevant healing bonuses to some of the gear to be too slow to be viable. the Valkyrie Queen felt like a feminist designed the fight mechcanics. though, it was nice to be able to switch all enhancement around at once--most convenient. I'm aware that there's 3 more passed games but to me, this felt like their first attempt at making a game I'm not known for leaving reviews unless the game is bad... though, this is the better game on a short list. I hope Ragnorok is better.

better outfits, locked transformation, more cool attacks, better fighting-those are all pluses. my only complaint is the stamina. i have 60 points in my stamina-yet-it's more of a hindrance now. having a lot of stamina is great for fighting a stronger **** you run out and get used as a bunching bag. plus, there's stamina breack-which is a mere cheat.....personally, i think the bar should just be removed and let us have unlimited **** at least a super soul that gives unlimited stamina. another issue is the level changes for enemies-it raises enemies that.....well shouldn't be raised! like the pg quest with jaco when you're fighting frieza's minions-i should not be getting knocked around by them. plus, a broken ranking **** the hell are we expected to get a z is we decide to go back and clear an earlier mission? it's completely absurd!

i would have like it more if it wasn't so hard to make a decant robot. mine's either too slow, too weak, or both. not to mention that power meter goes down way too quickly.

completely unimaginative! I like the story and the combat, but the rest? NO! it’s garbage! cheap skins, more bugs then you could shake a stick at, same city, only remodeled and only slightly wider. would I recommend this? only if you haven’t played the last 2 games yet. and to add to the insult, they game us the exact skin a lot of people said they did not want! horrible game, horrible company. i'm not a guy that'll just bash to bash, but we gotten things we specifically asked not to. it's like they're just ignoring us completely.

i was psyched for a wonderful game since i heard about it, however it really didn't last. I'm not talking story or graphics or even design here, those where perfect, rather the combat. all you saw where the same moves over and over. same with takedowns, no cool combos or anything, even the stealth, i was the same three ways all the time. and the swinging was too simple and he ran too slowly. and about the costumes: i think you could have added better, more fan-favorites. like the cross-species, i myself only used it like at lest three sort times. i think it would've been better to use the man-spider fromthe 1990's as well as the classic black suit . and speaking of the black suit, why didn't you make regenerate? I've never seen it ripped without self-repairing before. and the things that you could throw (should've been more} where poorly done. meaning most of them should be an instant ko's or blind them temporarily in some cases, which is another thing, like coke machines for example, they were all empty. i should've seen cans and spilled soda at lest. not to mention you really couldn't hold it and throw it when ready. and i was kinda hoping for hideouts and stuff and i also think the rhino challenge could have been more fun and why not be able to play hero as the lizard? and also think it would have been better with a replay option where you could replay the game with all the stuff you already unlock. and finally, i think that free roam would've been better if the crimes and such. because after you get 100% what's left to do? another plus side though was the acting, it was perfect.
