Veronica Mars deserves a marshmallow on top of an awesome movie. I have to admit, even though a based-on-a-television-series movie seems like a bad idea, Veronica Mars shines as a feature film. The storyline was great, the charm that Kristen Bell brought to the character was absolutely fantastic, and I like the fact that the writers threw in some humor in this thrilling mystery drama. I wasn't a fan of the series before watching the movie and now it makes me want to watch all 3 seasons of the series. Job well done Rob Thomas.

WEIRD. An ambitious project, but poorly written. The script was so bad, it should've exploded with the other exploding cars in this movie. I don't know why Selena Gomez got a Razzie nomination because her acting wasn't that bad. What made people think that her acting was so bad was the script. You could see that the writer didn't think it through when it comes to her character. There were a lot of unnecessary scenes and lines. The camera work was bad and the execution was even worse. Such a shame.

2 words: JENNIFER LAWRENCE. Honestly, when it comes to a David O. Russell universal acclaimed movie, I couldn't think of anyone besides Jennifer Lawrence. For me, she was definitely the scene stealer in that movie. However, she's not the only one who did an exceptional acting. Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper really committed to their roles as Irving Rosenfeld and Richie DiMaso, respectively, and delivered an award-worthy performance. I don't know why Amy Adams received such good praises for her role as Sydney Prosser, because, in my opinion, she only gave 75% of her acting ability. Such a shame though.

Exceptional acting and great direction. While many are not familiar with Solomon Northup's epic life story, including myself, the film delivers a great execution as if you were the one experiencing all these events that happened in Solomon's life. Steve McQueen really knows how to capture the essence of the theme. Moreover, the acting was EXCEPTIONAL. Big applause for Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Sarah Paulson, and newcomer Lupita Nyong'o. I'm surprised that Sarah Paulson didn't get the praised that she should've gotten. However, the movie itself is already a box office success, it doesn't need a lot of awards to attract audiences.

It's that typical yearly action movie. Jack Ryan reminds the audience of that classic action movie, but I couldn't find anything special about it. Sure the plot is good, but it's not great. This movie could've been longer and could've had more action stunts. However, it's still an entertaining movie to watch, especially in the beginning of the year.

Oh my, what a movie. This dark thriller is definitely something that we haven't seen in quite some time. James Franco's portrayal of Alien and those teen darlings (Gomez, Hudgens, Benson, and Korine) really gave that dark vibe that makes the audience want to stay and watch how it will all turn out, especially for the girls. There were too many sexual contents, but aside from that, it was a good movie.

Jennifer Lawrence is everything. She delivers a fantastic performance that makes the audience believe in her character's anger and vulnerability. Her acting has improved since the first movie and it truly makes this movie believable and better than the first one. There were some scenes that needed to be fixed, but it's not that big of a deal for this #1 action movie of 2013.

Loki stole the show. Tom Hiddleston really knows how to make his fandom proud and how to attract viewers to watch this sequel over and over again. However, like most movies, the first movie has a better storyline and is more exciting to watch. Compared to other superhero movie sequels, this movie is not too shabby.
