Sea of Thieves9

Amazing coop experience to play with a group of friends. The exploration is a game by itself and the thrill of fighting other crews while carrying tons of loot is unlike any other game
PC

Mortal Shell7
Sep 30, 2020
Best non-From-Software souls-like game, but combat is extremely clunky and meta feels more like exploiting the system then proper combat.
Xbox One
Sep 30, 2020
Hellpoint7
Sep 30, 2020
Huge plus for coop and splitscreen. Gameplay-wise its a souls-like but lacking in quality. Visuals need work as well. Despite its shortcomings its a fun game

Remnant: From the Ashes6
Sep 30, 2020
Even though the enviroments and enemies are varied, all the levels feel very samey. The difficulty is very unbalanced: you breeze through all the levels and get stuck at bosses. Good for a few hours
PC

Neon Abyss5
Sep 30, 2020
Great item variety is it's biggest strength but also it's downfall, as the game is really unbalanced and your run heavily relies on which items you get.
Xbox One

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice7
Jul 2, 2020
+ Visually stunning, satisfying combat, original story, unique environments. - Slow movement, tedious puzzles
Xbox One

Red Dead Redemption 23
Jun 30, 2020
Every animation takes ages, the gameplay loop is mostly riding around listening to conversations, combat is meh. Graphics are amazing though
Xbox One
Jun 24, 2020
No Man's Sky1
Jun 24, 2020
There is absolutely no aspect of this game that isn't bad. From the UI, through combat, endless boring resource grind to controls where for some reason sprint is bound to pressing the right analog stick
PC
Jun 22, 2020
Streets of Rage 45
Jun 22, 2020
The fighting system is very straightforward to the point of being boring. The game is only 2-3 hours, not really worth the $20. The graphics are nice though. Coop is a plus
PC

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun8
Jun 22, 2020
Great stealth puzzle game. Each character is unique, which makes approaching each mission with different sets of heroes a fresh challange
Xbox One
Jun 19, 2020
Shadow Warrior 23
Jun 19, 2020
Mindless combat with little room for skill. Tedious inventory management, after every mission you have to sift through hundreds of items. Fun for the first hour
PC

Quantum Break6
May 19, 2020
The shooting sequences are mediocre, the level traversal is boring, the story is alright but I wish they'd have done more crazy twists with time-traveling, as it only really begun to be interesting at the very end of the game
Xbox One
May 6, 2020
Middle-earth: Shadow of War8
May 6, 2020
Very captivating sandbox game, the combat works great when fighting multiple opponents, but becomes very boring when fighting 1v1. Sieges are epic
Xbox One

Halo 5: Guardians6

Decent campaign with no extreme highs or lows. Its a pity they removed split-screen from this game mode as it was a big selling point.
Xbox One

DOOM8
Apr 30, 2020
Amazing fast-paced combat, level design, and enemy variety. Just enough story to keep you going. Its an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Walking around the map from marker to marker is kinda boring but it's only there in the beginning
Xbox One

NieR: Automata - Become as Gods Edition6
Apr 30, 2020
If the entire game would be anything like its first hour it would be a 10 from me. Unfortunately its not. Its an empty open-world with countless sidequests and grindy character progression, mixed in with a minimal amount of really great combat sequences with terrific camera work.
Xbox One
Apr 24, 2020
Armello6
Apr 24, 2020
Decent RPG board-video game, with very nice artstyle. The game is very RNG-heavy, and not only in battles, so you don't really feel the losses or wins are deserved.
PC
Apr 24, 2020
Green Hell8
Apr 24, 2020
The game is an unforgiving challenge of survival. You start out with nothing and accomplishing even the smallest tasks like building a fire and getting some sleep seem like an achievement. After a while, you figure things out and feel like a king of the jungle you managed to tame
PC
Apr 24, 2020
Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera4
Apr 24, 2020
Its biggest pro is crossplay allowing you to play with friends from different systems. Other than that its a standard battle royale with the addition of missions as not to make it that boring.
PC
Apr 17, 2020
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End9
Apr 17, 2020
Great cinematic experience, you really feel like an action movie hero. Good pacing with each chapter beginning with some exploration, transitioning to climbing around, puzzles and a shootout at the end. The shootouts are its weakest part, but they are still fun and a god high-stake finale to a chapter. My biggest gripe with it was the part when you kill hundreds of people during gameplay, and then have scruples when killing a character in a cinematic
PlayStation 4
Apr 3, 2020
The Surge 25
Apr 3, 2020
A pretty good soulslike game that introduces its own mechanics to the genre, however, it relies to heavily on its progression system, going too far in a grind-to-win direction.
PC

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime5
Apr 3, 2020
When played by 2 players the game shines as you shout commands at each other trying to survive attacks from all sides with much to do and not enough time. Unfortunately, it becomes very boring when played with 4, as everybody gets their own role and sticks to it. Ships should change sizes based on how many players are playing.
PlayStation 4

Catastronauts!7

Does a good job recreating Overcooked mechanics and adding its own, but lacks the feature of splitting gamepads which was a very big strength of Overcooked.
PlayStation 4

Journey to the Savage Planet5
Mar 2, 2020
Wonderfully colorful, with varied fauna and flora. Exploring the game's world is a joy, but that's all there is. It's very easy, you feel no threat from enemies and bosses. You don't really interact with the aliens apart from shooting some of them. It would be great to observe some interactions between them and use them to your advantage, but all they do is walk around.

Good story and well-written characters with beautiful environments, but the gameplay and puzzles are so easy the game just gets boring

Emulates the dark souls experience in a 2d setting successfully when it comes to combat, but lacks in mechanical and world depth. Gets easy fast

Mount & Blade: Warband10
Jan 21, 2020
A very engaging single-player campaign that simulates your adventure in a medieval setting. Swordplay is simple and translates very well into multiplayer which is extraordinarily skill-based. The game is one of a kind.
PC
Jan 21, 2020
Children of Morta2
Jan 21, 2020
Pretty, but boring. Enemies are spongy, the game requires very low APM, and mostly consists of grinding. Whenever you lose it's because you went so far that you need to spend your earned currency for simple upgrades and go do the same thing and go a little bit further
PC
Jan 21, 2020
TowerFall Ascension7
Jan 21, 2020
Good coop experience, but a little short since the first levels are really easy. Its versus mode works great as a party game
PlayStation 4
Jan 21, 2020
Titanfall 29
Jan 21, 2020
Unbelievably fast-paced multiplayer action which makes you feel more badass than any game I've ever played. Jumping around as a pilot taking down titans and then hopping into one of your own with destruction everywhere around you is an unrivaled experience
PlayStation 4
Jan 21, 2020
Frostpunk8
Jan 21, 2020
The game's biggest strength is its atmosphere. The music captures the feeling of hopelessness one would hope for in this scenario and the round city is a joy to look at. At its core, it's a simple city-builder with low difficulty resource management, but it manages to keep the player engaged through its runtime.

Lack of variety in enemies and level design makes it get old pretty quick, but it's fast-paced action and intuitive controls mostly make up for it

Very engaging. Touchscreen controls are irritating at times, but the gameplay and a multiplayer option makes up for it.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order7
Dec 13, 2019
A lot of weak platforming elements in the beginning, but the latter half of the game, where most of the combat happens makes up for it. Great star wars atmosphere
PlayStation 4

Alien: Blackout5
Nov 27, 2019
Has an authentic Alien feel, but gameplay gets old pretty quick and retrying an entire level is very frustrating.

Farpoint5
Nov 27, 2019
The hour-long unskippable cutscene at the beginning of the game, as well as really not interesting cutscenes throughout the campaign, ruin the experience. Shooting is ok, sniper rifle has no scope
PlayStation 4

One of the best games on PS VR, but no community songs make it far worse than the PC version
PlayStation 4

DOOM VFR3
Nov 27, 2019
UI is on the side of the screen making it impossible to read, the gameplay is clunky and is mostly about running around which is not so pleasant in vr
PlayStation 4
Nov 26, 2019
The Forest (2014)8
Nov 26, 2019
A horror survival game with a story element full of twists. The survival element becomes trivial in the later stages of the game, but it remains engaging by challenges presented in the story aspect.
PC

A co-op puzzle game with terrific art direction and simple controls. The puzzles are too easy to be enjoyable
PC

Bloodborne4
Nov 26, 2019
The blood vial system forces the player to farm life potions that are an item crucial for Boss Fights, making tougher bosses a painful grind. It's an oversight that renders this otherwise promising game unplayable.
PlayStation 4

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin8
Nov 26, 2019
Weakest entry in the dark souls series, but still largely enjoyable, especially in co-op

The Star Wars IP and stunning visuals fail to cover up its mediocre gameplay. Get's repetitive really fast.

The best MOBA on mobile, pretty well balanced. A little slow in the early game.
iOS (iPhone/iPad)

It makes for memorable stories but is very time-consuming. It takes the Dwarf Fortress genre and makes it playable by the mainstream audience
