This game is AWESOME! Obsidian's making Bethesda look dumb with this. The graphics are a solid 10 out of 10. Characters are memorable and quirky. The story is pretty good. And tge gun play is PHENOMINAL. FOR SURE play this

I don't know that words can describe how much I've been enjoying this game. The graphics are awesome, the game play is great, and at times I find myself in awe at how how epic it is. It needs a few little tweeks here and there, but nothing game breaking, nothing that even hurts the experience and knowing Dice they'll have that stuff worked out pretty quickly. This game is a must have.

This game has a lot of potential but it's kind of overpriced. It's very slow, if you die you'll sit and watch a respawn timer for 10 seconds and then walk, not run but walk back to the action. Super annoying. People say that it has depth, but that is a mis-characterization. What they mean is it is extremely well balanced, that's not the same as depth. It doesn't have much depth to it at all. The RNG loot boxes are stupid and need to be fixed. Save your money until the price comes down.

Eh. The graphics are good, and the crafting system is cool. But just about everything else about this game I don't like. The story **** and kind of feels non-existent. There's no real motivation or drive to do anything. I can't stand it when weapons and armor in games are locked behind a level cap. It **** and doesn't make any damn sense. My guy is an elite soldier only called on when things really go south, but he's not capable of wearing some knee pads because reasons. It's a really dumb way to do things. The only time I have fun playing this game is when I'm playing with other people, and even that isn't wonderfully fun like some other games I've played. Don't play it alone, you'll be bored. The Bullet Sponge is freaking real in this game, hardcore. It's terrible and I would have hoped we'd be beyond this by 2016. At the end of the day, maybe this MMORPG thing just isn't for me. If you liked Destiny, you'll probably like this, if you hated Destiny, don't waste your money.

The graphics are beautiful, the game play is fun, the sounds are awesome. The story however feels lack luster and completely failed to draw me in. I would have given this game a 7, but I love the fact that they did something different with the setting. They get a point for that. It's worth the 60 bucks IMO.

Taken at face value, it's still one of the best games of the year, but when compared to New Vegas we can feel the ever on-ward march of the dumbing down in the industry. Repair mechanics are gone, traits, skills. This is less RPG and more action adventure than I would have liked. I hope Bethesda learns from Resident Evil here as they are making the same mistake. Resident Evil was a survival horror, and slowly over time it turned into an Action Adventure and has been nailed with crappy reviews and general dislike ever since. Fallout has been making the same march. It's not good and a little sad. The settlement builder feature is an awesome addition, but like a lot of new features it needs some work as it doesn't function all that well. Parts are clunky and don't work as well as they should. The story feels dated. Fallout 3 you were a Son searching for his father, here you are a father searching for his son. Woo hoo. Major creative liberties taken there Bethesda. Awesome job. I guess next time we'll be a Spouse searching for a spouse, or a sibling searching for a sibling. New Vegas was far superior in story, and honestly I had a lot more fun playing that one than this one. Let's hope Obsidian develops a follow up to New Vegas.

This game is terrible. There is literally nothing you can't do in this game that you can't have more fun doing in some other game. Nothing. The textures are absolutely terrible, it all looks fake and plastic compared to just about every other game in the industry right now. TTK is way to fast, Advanced Movements are a failed concept. This game is horrible. Stay away.

I had to scale my initial review back a bit. This game is absolutely amazing, worth every penny of 60 bucks. the graphics are awesome, it's a lot of fun to play, the story is engaging it's just about perfect. The reason I had to scale my initial review of a 10 out of 10 back is because of the repeated story missions. They literally force you to replay missions you've already beat at harder difficulties to progress. This was a really dumb design choice and I have no idea what Kojima was thinking. What they should have done instead is just allowed you to go back and replay those missions on harder difficulties if you wanted to. With the way it is this was an obvious ploy to extend the amount of missions available and pad out game time. Something that wasn't even needed as the game without these "extra" missions would have been amazing anyway.

The game is awesome. I've got about 7 hours in it. Great graphics. Great game play. The only reason it's not a 10 is because there are some very small things that are a little wonky from time to time. It's not game breaking but it's not perfect either. I love it.

After playing this game more the honeymoon as wore off and I wanted to change my opinion slightly. The game is fun, but it's not Battlefield 4 fun. It's different, and it tries to be different. This game is meant to be more casual minded than other Battlefield games. If you think of COD as being the ultimate casualfest and Battlefield 4 being hardcore, then this would fall right in between those nicely. It's not trying to be Battlefield 4, it's not even trying to compete with Battlefield 4, what it's trying to do is compete with Advanced Warfare. And it succeeds, I've had a ridiculous amount of fun playing this, way more than COD. It's not without flaws, Heist and Blood Money are the only real modes worth playing imo. More guns and better balance would have been nice. It encourages camping in a lot of different ways. It's worth the 60 bucks to me and I recommend it.

Usually when I see 10s on Metacritic I assume their **** This isn't **** You can look at my reviews and see I'm harsh on games for the most part. This game is **** PHENOMENAL and everything that SimCity should have been. I was reserving judgement for awhile, but the moment I unlocked more territory for city expansion I was SOLD. This is a MUST HAVE for anybody who likes building cities.

This game is awesome. That's as simple as it can be put. The Nemesis system is phenomenal and provides a very welcome challenge and innovation to an industry that's been severely lacking in both. It's a beautiful game with a compelling story and is a crap load of fun to play. This game would have been a nine except I can't forgive the final boss battle. For a game that goes out of it's way to be challenging in a whole new unique way, is was a HUGE let down and disappointment that the final boss was a quick time event. And not even a good one at that. I spent a lot of time and energy in building my character up to have all these skills and abilities, and for what? Just to continue playing against war cheifs and captains? That is fun and all but the final point is so that my character would be strong enough to face the final boss. I mean that's the point right? This was a stupid and lackluster mistake on their end. Also, the season pass feels like a huge waste of money, don't bother. Other than that and a few glitches that were annoying but not game breaking, AWESOME AWESOME GAME AND A MUST PLAY.

I didn't like it. Way to linear for my tastes and buggy as hell. The story was semi interesting. The controls felt sluggish. I just in general don't have anything nice to say about it other than it looked good. I suppose seeing the little side conversations was kind of cool, added to the atmosphere. Overall though just a waste of money.

Far Cry 47
Feb 11, 2015
I loved this game. It was a lot of fun to play. I had never played a Far Cry game before so I came into this fresh and with zero expectations, some people are upset that it's like the other ones and that may or may not be true I have no idea but it's probably likely. Obviously I'm not holding that against it. The graphics are amazing, the game play mechanics were perfectly fine and smooth. I had zero complaints in those departments, at this point though those things are to be expected. The story line was great, I loved the fact that you got to make choices, and those choices had a small impact on the story. What I felt they could have done better though is have those choices have more of an impact on the world at large. A great opportunity was lost here I felt, especially given the choices you were making. Games don't go far enough in this area, but at least you got to make choices so that's a step in the right direction. The characters were believable and the story was impactful, they did a great job in that area. All those things being said, some of the side missions could get a little repetitive, and I felt like there wasn't enough of a reason to do those things besides earning money and skill points. The first time your asked to save a group of hostages you feel like you want to run out and help, the 5th time you're saying screw it let the hostages die. This is because they all worked exactly the same and there was no real reason to do them. What needs to happen with these open world games is those side missions should be more varied from iteration to iteration, and they should have more of an impact on the larger story. There are no consequences for not helping the hostages, the rewards are minimal, so beyond achieving 100% completion what am I doing them for? I used the hostages as an example but the same logic can be applied to all of the side missions. I'll also say some of the same in regards to collecting stuff. This game and other open world games like it never shy away from boosting their play time by throwing in a bunch of crap you have to run around and collect, if you're going to have me collecting things, why can't those things have a bigger impact on the story? If I collect all of the propaganda posters, why can't this lead to more support from civilians in whatever ending you're going to have, this is just one example. It's sawdust filler and I'm a little sick of seeing it in video games at large personally. There was a bit of this in this game actually, by collecting all of the journals you got to read Ajay's father's side of the story, and that was cool. Collecting all of the masks however yielded absolutely nothing of value. I was actually pretty pissed off at this because I was expecting the serial killer to try and kill me, come running out of a bush or something. But nothing happened. Nothing at all. I was rewarded with infinite Gun for Hire tokens, something I never used anyway. I was fully prepared to give this game an 8 out of 10. I can't do it. I have to give it a seven. I understand games are going to have bugs, you will never play a game and not come across a few. So I was not upset when a wall **** me into it. I was fine with having to reset my system. What was not ok is logging back into find that the last three hours of the game had been wiped away, and completely due to incompetence on the part of the developer. Almost every game you play with the exception of this one (being the only one I can think of) has a screen where you can go to load previous saved games, including autosaves. This one does not. So when I logged back in after the bug **** me into a wall, whatever auto save had been there was gone and 3 hours was just wiped out. This could have been avoided very easily by having a screen I go to with all of my saved games. It's just idiotic that such a basic feature is missing. In short, it's a lot of fun to play, pick it up if you haven't, but it's also a glaring example of what's wrong with the industry today.

I don't understand how anyone can rate this above a 6. The only thing good about it is the graphics and mechanics. It's a zero story grind fest. Worse than that, they think we're idiots (and some of you are). At this point it's BEYOND DISPUTE that they took a 60 dollar game and chopped it up into pieces so they could sell those pieces for more money. BEYOND DISPUTE. Anyone claiming otherwise is a moron, or working for Activision.

Simply put, this game is AWESOME. Totally blows COD out of the water. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because they are still having some issue with tracking stats. Small problems like things disappearing that you've done. The Campaign blows but I don't hold that against them because I didn't get it to play the campaign anyway. But other than that, the lack **** campaign and losing stats occasionally, the game is perfect. I didn't play this when it launched but I hear it was horrible, since the fall patch there have been zero issues and it's easily the best Mult-player game on X-box one.

The Multiplayer is the reason I'm giving this a low score, in fact were it not for the Campaign (which so far is stellar, COD usually gets this right) and Exo-Survival (which I personally find more enjoyable than Treyarchs Zombies) the score would probably be like a 3 or 4. My reasons are simple. 1). The TTK is WAAAAAY to fast, it makes the Exo almost useless if you die before you even know you're getting shot at. 2). This is supposed to be "Next Gen" and we still don't have dedicated servers. 3). After playing Battlefield 4 for the first time last month 6 v 6 is a joke. A JOKE. 4). See above for destructible environments. I throw a grenade and it DOESN'T leave a hole in the ground? Sounds like small potatoes until you see a game do exactly that. 5). See above for levolution. In fact, their scripted events like the tidal wave and volcano eruption are a joke. A JOKE. Almost insulting in fact. Because of those last three things COD will get no more of my dollars until they update their ridiculously old engine to incorporate ACTUAL next gen quality games. I give kudos to sledgehammer for trying something new at least. The game is slick, the graphics are nice, it's definitely a step up from the horror show that was Ghosts, but at this point I have to agree with the so many I used to argue with. COD has become so outdated by other games it's gotten ridiculous.

Does little to nothing to save this game. Infinity Ward can learn a lot from Treyarch when it comes to map design. "War Torn" maps with "scribble lanes" is one of the biggest flaws of the game. Making it War Torn breaks up line of sight and makes it so you can't see the enemy, that along with the colors must be why just about everyone I come across in the lobbies is negative in k/d.

Compared to other COD games, this game is garbage. The maps are entirely to big, the colors are to drab and everything looks the same making it difficult to see who you are shooting at, the guns are forgettable (except maybe the tac 12), the spawns are ridiculous. I thought this would have changed from 360 to Xbox One, it hasn't much. People you kill still spawn directly behind you. The ONLY saving grace this version has compared to the 360 model is that it has many more game modes, at least from when I last played the 360 version. I enjoy drop zone and the new one reinforce is pretty cool too, but overall it's just not very fun to play. Save your money, wait on AW.

Not sure why the score for this game is so low, I think it's fun and engaging on many levels. I know a lot of people are upset about some of the things that are "missing" from Sims 3 I guess I just don't miss them very much. I had no use for pools and the toddlers were annoying anyway. Though I do miss create a style, my score would be higher were it not for that missing. It's a Sim game, if you liked the previous installments you'll probably like this one too.
