PS2 graphics, choppy animations, framerate is a joke, no tutorial, waste of 80GB (!) on your drive.

Graphics are alright, music is repetitive and annoying - bikes sound like lawnmowers and your rider is constantly screaming for some reason. Gameplay is simple: hold gas and hope that this time the physics won't screw you over. Seemingly same jumps can result in crashing or perfect landing. Reminds me of Angry Birds - just keep presssing restart till you win. I had more fun playing Across or Elastomania about 18 years ago.

Tera Online for PS4 is a pretty cool game but only if you have someone to play it with. The servers are dead and I haven't been able to find a group for a dungeon for over a week now. The fact that there is 6 servers and each of them has 3 channels isn't helping to make it easier for players to play together. It's a real shame because the game runs really well and you can tell that they worked hard to create the interface that is easy to use for a controller.

I've never played any previous games so I can't compare them. However, as my first game in the series I really enjoyed it. Cartoony graphics are beautiful, animations in the cutscenes are fantastic and I haven't noticed any frame rate drops. Audio is fine and the voice acting is really well done. Controls are very fluid, jumping sections don't require pixel precision from you and certain puzzles can be challenging at times. The only downside is that the game is pretty short but if you want to max it out there are some collectibles, optional objectives and upgrading to do. There's even a challenge mode to play through the game again but I didn't feel like doing that.

I got this game on PS Plus, really wanted to try it out but I can't. After 30 minutes of playing my eyes started to hurt and i got a headache. Upon looking it up I found out that there are some graphical effects in the game that cause this and I'm not the only one to be affected by them. What's more there is no option to turn the effects off. It's a real shame because I was starting to enjoy the game but getting actual physical pain while playing a game is a ridiculous.
