The controls are a little clunky when you first start using your legion... it takes some time to get used to. The game is very heavy-handed with its cinematics but it sets the stage very well... the very beginning is very exhilarating keeping you on your toes (even when you take your time trying to do everything). all in all, it is a very good game... not a 10 out of 10 but very close IMO P.S I wish I could give it an 8.5 instead of a 9 but if I had to choose I would rather go higher than lower on the score.

With all the hype surrounding this game, it finally comes out and... it was all worth it. Controls: The gameplay is fun and intuitive... that said there are like 3 moves that you cannot use on the unless you use motion controls; cap throw down, cap throw up, and homing cap... yes you can use it with your controllers attached to the grips but it would've been nice to have every move mapped onto the controller. there is also the way Mario does a spin cap attack... you can do it without motion controls but it is not as instant. Now the positive, as I said above, the controls very intuitive and fun. once you get used to the main controls (which won't take long) your up and running and playing the game. like most, all Mario games the controls are super tight and fun... it will make you fall in love with Mario and Nintendo again. Graphics: The game runs at a fluid 60fps throughout the whole game as far as I know... there might have been frame dips but they were so negligible I didn't notice them. I did, however, notice the antialiasing but to run this game at 60fps and smoothly I think it is forgivable. FunFactor: The fun factor of the game is out of this world... the main game itself is super easy... but that is not where this game shines... the game shines in its exploration, Nintendo gives you massive worlds to play in... I mean huge worlds (except for the few little ones scattered in the game for story or tutorial reasons). it is like Nintendo built each person a bunch of playgrounds to just explore and have fun in... of for that I say thank you Nintendo. Yes, you can breeze through the game in a few hours and be done with it... but if you want more out of the game you need to delve deeper (use tricks and advanced moves)... you will need to work for some of these moons. but if you are inexperienced or a casual gamer, there are plenty of moons to find randomly in the world. so to end my review, if you have a switch, pick up the game, if you don't buy a switch and get the game... if you can't try to get someone to buy you a switch and this game lol it will be well worth it.

This is the best game I've played in long a while... no if's, and's or but's. Finally, a game where Zelda is the main focus... where she actually feels like one of the most powerful people in the game... on par with Link and Ganon. if you have a nintendo switch, it is a shame if you do not play this game.

for those who played the original game, they will love this awesome throwback... from the graphics to the actual gameplay they game has it all... it would have been nice to see the game with better graphics though it is not a deal breaker (for me).

This game is fun in spurts... this game is mad! lol the rabbids are toned down (which is great) and they weirdly fit in the mushroom kingdom setting for some reason. the world is vibrant and colorful and a treat to "explore" through the exploration is somewhat limited it feels natural, and somewhat simple (not too far into the game so I don't know if there are any head-scratchers yet). the only problem with the game is the customization is a little boring, I wish there were some kind of armor and weapon customizations... talking about weapons they all kinda look the same with different skins... they should have had more "wacky" or strange weapons... the rabbids are cute but I wish they had more of a varied look, they all look like they are just cosplaying. bottom line, it is a great game... but I am more excited for what they come out with next.

I did not play the original game so I don't have a point of reference... all I know is that this game runs like butter, is fun at parties, and is damn fun to play period.
