A just about perfect game in almost every way; great, engaging story, funny and likable characters, and the most importantly a world rich with detail that you can basically destroy and get into an endless battle with the police. It is all around great and not much more needs to be said about the game. If I had only one gripe with the game and it is not about the single player; it is that the multiplayer has a lot of improvement that needs to be made, such as faster times getting into a game and a more rewarding mission payout. Other than that, I see GTA Online going far and that GTA V is certainly a contender for me as Game of The Year.

Infamous 2! The action game that everybody seems to love on the Playstation 3! And it is a good game indeed. I was coming in expecting more of the same from Infamous 1 with a new story and setting and I was right. There is little new in the action department and you are basically doing the same thing from start to finish, what keeps you going is the ability to break away from the over-serious story with silly characters and basically bring the New Orleans rip off of a city to it's knees with your awesome lightning powers! Destroying everything in sight and even using the new abilities that are introduced in the game is very fun and satisfying which is to say is my favorite thing about this game. The story is okay, but I feel that it takes itself too seriously and it is just a tad ridiculous at times but what can you do. I mean just like some other action-adventure games and movies out there you are playing as a bad guy masquerading as a good guy and it doesn't really matter if you go for the good or evil endings, Cole basically acts the same way. He doesn't really care about the people he protects, and even as good he really only cares about power. He is an anti-hero at his core no matter what; Zeke provides some good comic relief here and there on the other hand. I think that the first provided a better story with better fleshed out characters and combat all around; by the second half of the 2 game the combat in particular is lacking to say the least. You've got these monsters, ice guys, and the militia all fighting you and whoever came up with the idea that flood town would be a good idea for players to have fun in needs to be forced to play in it for 24 hours because it really is not that fun, it is more annoying. Overall, it is an enjoyable game despite being more of the same, the story is engaging but lacking in my opinion, but it is fun and that is what matters.

Dragon Age II

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but I thought that Dragon Age II is actually an improvement over Dragon Age: Origins in a few ways; and I actually am enjoying the time I'm spending in the game right now. For one, I think the combat is better, I still think it is a little boring but it fits within the mechanics of the game. The graphics are better, the game is much more comfortable to look at here on the PS3 than Origins. Some may complain about the story and I agree that it is not as exciting as the story in Origins but the story here picks up faster than in Origins and generally it is engaging. I actually want to continue playing just to see what happens with Lord Jayford Hawke and his companions. On the downside, the environment that you spend the game in is horrible and it is boring, Kirkwall is interesting to explore at first but it gets tiresome after a few hours, and the outside and cave levels are all copy and paste and it reminds me of Halo: Combat Evolved. I'm shocked that Bioware didn't spend more time here to make better environments to match what they wanted in a exciting story and character driven game. This game gets a 7, it's good, but it could have been so much better.

This game is very good for what is priced nowadays. You get this huge world, hundreds of quests, and great replay ability. It's worth it; however some may not like the gameplay and unfortunately it is either you love it or hate it kind of game. If you loved Diablo and Warcraft then this will be the game that you have been waiting for on the 360. If not I warn now, you will not like this but I recommend that you at least give it a shot especially since this game is at a decent price today.

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa is an amazing game; it gets a 10, one up from what I gave FIFA 10 because of the advancements EA Sports has done on the game over FIFA 10 which includes; better lighting and shadows graphically which makes the stadiums that you travel to and the pitches themselves look spectacular. In addition, the crowds have been given so much more life and finally been animated to make the epic games even more so. Overall, this is a great game and any soccer fan should definitely play this!

Fifa soccer games has always had the distinction of being technically solid, and true to the world of soccer or 'football' and Fifa 10 carries on that just as well as it's predecessors. I played most of my time in Manager Mode and I found it be extremely exciting and playing through multiple seasons to be rewarding. I played as Chelsea and had great pleasure crushing Manchester United over and over again! However, those who play soccer in real life might notice the unbelievable goals that you can have in this game, but I looked past that because I really like the animations of the players and the sounds when you're in the middle of the game and score goals it just really powerful. The crowd animations aren't that good, but luckily you don't have to look at them all that much. This is a really good soccer game, in fact it is one of the best.

Brink

All I have to say is wow; Brink has had the honor of hitting the one of worst games I've ever played this year. It is incredibly frustrating (from a single-player point of view), in addition this game is just an incomplete mess as there are some graphic texture problems that are pretty noticeable as you go through the well designed maps. However, for all the things Brink gets right like the objective-based combat and very nice graphics and well done maps, the frustrating dumb AI ruins everything. So for me, there were times when I wanted to come back to Brink to play but was quickly deterred from playing by the horrible AI alone. So for this reason, Brink gets a 1.
