While it isn't nearly as revolutionary as the original, it's still a solid game. Note that at this point there's only one map, more will probably come out soon (some free, others most likely an in app purchase). Great and addicting, especially if you enjoyed the console version. Still a bit expensive, if unsure wait for a price drop and / or new maps to be released.

At first, while looking at the screenshots, you may think : "What is this pixelated and blocky piece of crap! How can people POSSIBLY like this game!?". That was my first reaction to this game. But once you do decide to give it a go, you'll find it's much more than a pixelated game. Minecraft is a sandbox game. There are no scripted objectives, no "go there and get me this and that". There are many RPG elements such as armour, enchanting, and potions, as well as the old hotbar. There's also the survival element (if you choose to play survival mode). But minecraft is more about doing it your way. You can choose any playstyle, not constrained by pesky quests or classes or objectives. There are no restrictions. You can feel free to do whatever you want. Want to make a giant LolCat picture? Sure, go ahead. Even open world games like Skyrim can't give you this amount of freedom. It's even better when playing with friends, building giant structures together. If building isn't your thing, you can go exploring for dungeons or monster hunting. And of course, the modding and mapping community is basically what makes Minecraft one of the greatest games of all time. There are countless mods for almost anything you can think of. From advanced machines to cool magic and wizadry mods, mods make Minecraft have a limitless amount of replayability. Not the mention the plethora of custom maps and adventures that are like playing an RPG.

Brilliant Game - Bethseda have outdone themselves again. Skyrim is a epic and immersive game. And, even better, PC Skyrim has amazing graphics and mod capability (I believe the Mod Tools are being released soon). You will not regret buying this.

First off, let me say that the majority of people rating it negative have not even played or even bothered to look at Modern Warfare 3. And also, the majority of their comments will be: "MW3 is a DLC to MW2" or "MW3 is MW2.5. It is true the MW3 shares the same engine as MW2. But it is by no means the same experience. MW3 has a lot of new stuff. Like, say, new maps. Most of the maps in MP are balanced and fun. MW3 also has none of the balancing issues MW2 had (except Akimbo FMG9, but isn't nearly as bad as OMA Noobtubing). You've also got tons of new weapons, with fresh models and animations. True, the graphics haven't changed at all. But MW2's (and MW3s) graphics are fine to begin with. Maybe not as good as BF3s, but this also enables users with lower end rigs to play it just fine. Matchmaking returning is a bit disappointing for PC, but by no means is it that bad. Just make sure you stay under 125 ping matches. Unranked servers are of course included, so if you want to play CG Rules SnD or something, you can. Course, MW3 isn't all about MP. The Singelplayer campaign was fun (albeit a little short), and Spec Ops is more fun than ever, especially in Survival mode. Overall, MW3 is a well rounded and great game. Its loads of fun, especially with friends in a Party. Just one note: don't expect it to be one of those immersive, "6 hour sessions at a time" games like Skyrim. MW3 is great for a quick burst of frenzied fun for around 2 or 3 hours. Then, have a rest or go play BF3 or something.
