tl;dr: go buy it now! long version: This has got to be one of the most satisfying games i've played in years. The story: Really good, reminiscent of a lot of manga/anime. Characters: NPC's seem like the same model but with a small facelift to make them look different, enemies are kind of varied, and you get a mix of level 10's and level 72's on the same area so it makes it a challenge to clear some places. Music: It's good but after 100hrs it feels repetitive somehow... UI: Very very simple, but streamlined, you have a million of options and it's easy to navigate between them. Side Quests: they're well designed, even the typical RPG quest of "go pickup 100 apples" have some backstory to make it more interesting, or they add the salvage mechanic to add some randomness to it. Combat: even if the game failed on all other aspects, this one would carry it to a 10/10. You manage a party of 3, whose roles (Tank/Healer/DPS) are very notorious, the equipment, skills, etc. all revolves around those roles, compared to other semi-rpg's this is a great win. There is a combo/chain mechanic that makes it not just be a button mashing game or just a DPS+heal rinse&repeat, it also requires hitting a timed button to trigger better attacks, enemies have a "weakness" to which you can sort your blades to be more effective. AI: The tank AI is OK, i can rely on it to keep the aggro, the problem lies with the Healing AI, i've fallen a lot of times and noticed that the healer is DPS'ing instead of healing the party, on some bosses i've had to switch to healing the party as the AI doesn't do an optimal job there and the DPS is meh, doesn't always does combos :( Bottom line: great great game, i'd give it a 11/10 but take a -1 for the exaggerated female characters that get a close up only when my wife is passing by the tv and she then disapprovingly looks at me. Stop looking for reviews, go buy it, now now now!

This game should be evaluated in two different aspects: 1 - As a sequel in the Wolfenstein franchise: greater plot, more cut-scenes, and action sequences yet straying from the rambo feeling and falling more into the games with story bucket, dual wielding games don't mix up well with emotional flashbacks. 2 - As a port of a really nice looking game to a beefed-up tablet: lot's of compromises were made; textures look like taken from goldeneye 64, fire particles looks 2d-ish, there is more blurring than on instagram celebrity pics and the usual frame drops, but neither of this stops the action and you can still enjoy the game, Motion aim assist is excellent, you aim with the stick then refine with the controller, works better than on doom, haven't found any annoying bug, just one on the first run where it wouldn't detect the joycons, fully restarting the switch fixed it; playing it undocked is just extending the definition of "playable", text is blurry and small and the FPS dips might annoy you. If you have other consoles, get wolf there, you'll probably enjoy it more on a stronger device, if you only have the switch then you'll get a well done and faithful port of an OK game just keep in mind that certain sacrifices had to be done. Oh and for some reason we still have to kill dogs :( they should have **** robot dogs!

It's suspicious that the 10/10 reviews are from the same day, anyway, this game is awful, it has so much film grain that it's hard to see whats interactive and whats part of the decoration, the puzzles are bad and frustrating, movement is uber slow, ammo is extremely scarse, if you combine that with the fact that you can barely see stuff on the ground to pick up and that the melee attack doesn't kill enemies and you can't outrun them. Worst part of this game: there are no refunds on the nintendo eshop.
