Wish I could've loved this adaption, but unfortunately this show moved way too fast. I felt like it was speed running events and character arcs through the show. If I wasn't familiar with Yu Yu Hakusho beforehand, this would've been completely incomprehensible. However, I thought the action was excellent.

Was sad to finish the series. Loved the analogy of spirit vines as weapon of mass destruction in this season. The 2d animation was always top notch, but was not a fan of the 3d in the mechs and vehicles that much. Other times the 3d was splendidly layered in with the 2d. Either way, happy to have watched the show.

This season was jam packed with introductions to characters and setting, but it was such an enjoyable watch. It was a brief but fun season. The equalists were an interesting group and would've loved to have explored them more.
