Another indie pixel non game where you wonder around not doing **** because there isn't anything to actually do. The cyberpunk theme would be cool if it didn't look like a PBS kids show. You want to play a PBS kids show? No that's stupid, just like this game.

One of the best hour/dollar ratios in gaming. This game is hard as balls though, not that there's anything wrong with that. As far as roguelikes go this is one of my favorites. I love this game.

I kept hearing about how much better this game was than Skyrim, but at least you can play that This is the most pathetic port I've played in a long time, the graphics are stretched and look terrible, the controls... oh god the **** you need to download 'fixes' to get this game working properly they done up. End of story.

Alright so there isn't a lot of decent jrpg's out for the pc and this is an example of why. It seems alright at first, the battle mechanic seems cool at first with your squads and everything, but ultimately with limited control over their growth you feel like you're just depending on luck more than skill to beat fights.

It's a top down shooter. You'll get bored of this like you got bored of Smash tv or the old Gauntlet games. Not that this is a bad game, it isn't, just this has all been done before.

Westernizing is a whole lot easier now, making it not just fun but viable as well to play an uncivilized nation like Japan, although if you're looking to dominate the world as President Madagascar you'll still be disappointed. The UI looks good and clean, dismissing mass messages is easy and mobilizing an army is two clicks away. Tons of stuff to build and research outside of war, so there is plenty to do here if you're a more passive type. Game takes a bit to get into, but once you do like other Paradox titles there is a lot to do in here if you give it a chance.

Boring game with a score jacked by indie fanboys. Not a single thing here is new or innovative, unless you count repetitiveness as a feature. I would not recommend buying this game.

For $15 you can't go wrong with this game. Solid game play, music and tight controls make it a blast to play with friends, like the first one except better because now you can play online! Also hey, some gorgeous graphics here. For only $15 how could I not give this a 10 when it provides so much? An instant classic, like Bastion, you need this in your collection.

Even shorter then the first one, the only reason to pick it up is, like the first one, you got an itching for a beat em up. Beat em up's with lightsabers, how could you go wrong? Will it can if you expect this to be more then a short term diversion. Pick it up on sale for a few bucks if you already have the first, otherwise just pass on it. It only lasts a few hours, so you won't be getting your monies worth if you pay more then $5.

It's an okay game if you see it on a Steam sale or from somewhere. Not really anything amazing, but if you find it cheap it can fill a hack n slash void if you already played and beat Darksiders to death. Decent game, but don't pay more then $5 for it.

It's kind of like if Contra sexed up Megaman then released a 16/32 bit Contra+Megaman type of thing who took after his father, Contra. The older Contra games were so good you guys, and this is as close as we're going to get to a decent new one. Also, Contra.

A lot of hipsters hating on this because it's popular, you know the type. They'll say [insert band here] ****, while they themselves can't sing a note or play an instrument to save their life. It's like saying the Beatles ****; they may not be your type of music, but to just dismiss them as crap is ignorant and petty.

This game is amazing, a masterpiece if I ever played one. The music is superb, great story, and fun characters and classic lines. It's been a long time since I played a game as engaging as this. If i had a gripe, I can't say it lasted more then 20 hours so far doing multiplayer and singleplayer missions, I know the SDK is coming down the line soon, so we'll be seeing an influx of user generated maps soon. I still feel like I got my monies worth, Portal 2 was designed so well, I felt it was still a very satisfying experience.

Crysis 27
Mar 23, 2011
This is only a slightly above average shooter with barely above average graphics. Sure the graphic are great, if you only compare it to a console. Games like The Hunter and BF3, games that were designed with the PC in mind, clearly blow this game out of the water in the graphics department. Truly a shame, as that was one of Crysis' most redeeming features. You can see the influence in other areas as well. Smaller maps, less players in multi player, cut prone feature. A lot of **** ended up getting cut or just tossed due to balancing around the console versions. It isn't that this is a really bad game or anything, just if you were expecting a sequel that took fps to a level like the original Crysis did, you will be disappoint.

They cut out a lot of the fluff of the first game. Not as many weapons or armor to choose from, but really, most of it got melted into omni gel which is no longer needed. They ditched the Mako parts which is good. A lot of the rpg leveling system got cut, but again it was mostly fluff stuff like the equivalent of lockpicking, which is just a universal type skill now. This game is a satisfying experience with a high replay value. Much improved on from the first.

What these guys aren't telling you is the controls are non customizable (you NEED a 3rd party app to use a controller or to change buttons). The graphics, while stylized and a neat direction, end up washed out and blurry, and the platforming is as generic as the story. Yes there is a "twist" to it, but if you played Prince of Persia, you won't be seeing anything new. The music is good, the controls tight, the game itself is decent, but this is not the second coming of platformers everyone is making it out to be. It is a generic indie game that reached circlejerk overhyped status; this is not a bad game or a great one, it is an average platformer.

I don't even know what to say; this is one the the greatest games ever made. Years of city building developing experience went into this, and it shows. Truly an opus from an era that should have never ended. Don't forget to grab the expansion if you can find it, hopefully GoG will pick this up soon enough.

This game is **** I can't give it a 10 because of the DRM, but it's still fantastic. Look at those scores, 10's and 9's everywhere, and not just from **** "professional" reviews. I cannot think of a superhero game, ever, that was this good, but this game isn't just good if you compare it to other licensed stuff, this game can stand on it's own, and will certainly go down as a classic. Bravo Rocksteady, you guys really outdid yourselves..

Don't listen to the haters, this game is better than l4d1. The versus is more balanced and has more special infected, more weapons, more everything, it's just more better. They're currently importing some of the original maps, and adding more content to this one so unless you like playing with sub 4k players and waiting in lobbies, there isn't any reason to pick up the first over this one. Overall definitely a solid team based fps for those of you who hate fps.

The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom4
Nov 23, 2010
This has the dumbest story and characters I have seen in a long time. You play some silver spoon princess looking to attack some land her daddy gave her an order to or some crap. The dialog was physically painful for me to have to listen to. Not really because of the acting, but because of how generic the story was. And the DRM. Well what more can be said? All in all, it's kind of fun, but I would stick with the old Sierra games and save the headaches. The story is laughable (unintentional camp), and the DRM just kills the other redeeming features. It just isn't worth it guys.

This game get a lot of hate for no reason whatsoever. Yes you can't zoom around the landscape or spam teleports and massive fireballs. There are plenty of other fighter games that allow you to do that. This is more of a technical fighting game for the universe. Noritaka Funamizu from Street Fighter 2 provided input, and you can really tell. It feels more like an SF2 EX fighting game, than a Budokai one. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but certainly not for everyone.
