I’m not sure I’d waste this amount of money on another Housemarque game ever again. They don’t put much into their games. You play one giant level where even guns start to feel the same and you wish there was a “no story” button because whenever the story pops it’s ugly face in you want to throw the console out the window but you keep playing until you realize you’ve played it all over and over and over again.

People reviewing poorly because of difficulty shouldn’t play FromSoftware games. The brilliance & addiction comes from difficulty. That is why FromSoftware is who they are today, if they made easy games they wouldn’t be fun, they wouldn’t exist.

Returnal is of the highest tier roguelikes to ever release. It is the best so far. I sure hope the developers don’t dumb this game down for anyone.

This game isn't as great as people say it is. It isn't even that good. It's ugly, clunky and feels paper thin. I don't understand how the developer asks a whopping $40.00, what a joke. Once again I'm duped by the "gamers" stating that this is a great game and best of the "Castlevania" -type games, but if it is then these games are truly going down the gutter. It isn't new, refreshing, inventive. So if you want to play an average side scrolling game that is similar to Castlevania, here you go. That's all it is.

I was very disappointed when I realized after I purchased this game that the Aladdin is NOT the Super Nintendo version. I wouldn't have bought this if I would've known, since that version of the game is so much better.
