Shame that it's called Star Control because it pales compared to Star Control 2 or even Star Control 3! + Good art + Decent voice work - Buggy engine that crashes in weird ways... hello black screen of death! - Most of the races are just copies of the SC2 races - Story line is boring at best - UI is god awful

I love 4X games. In fact, MoM is probably my favorite game ever. Fallen Enchantress is not in the same league as MoM or other great 4X games. This game is buggy and crashes alot. The AI sometimes just stops working and you have to restart the entire campaign. The loot and items are boring and repetitive. The story is worse then a B movie skin flick. It's also the ugliest game I can recall in recently memory. If I had my dollars to spend again, I'm buy XCOM or another decent 4X game.

This game is just terrible in basically every respect. First and foremost there is no "fun factor" to be found. You do stuff move characters around and build things but you never really feel like you're doing anything important. Secondly it is technically a very poor game. It crashes far too often, some components in the game just don't work as they should. Thirdly it's aesthetics are quite terrible. I understand **** was going for a game that ran on netbooks but that's no excuse for all the art to be of such poor quality. The characters look worse than the avatars on Nintendo Sports for the Wii. On the good side it does have that 4X type of game feel at some points but that's as good as it gets. It doesn't make up for the previous failings. No 4X for you!
