MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies9
Oct 18, 2016
Despite being a mix of two very cliche plots rolled into one MegaTagmension Blanc is perhaps one of the most fun and exciting games in the series. When it comes to the exciting high speed speed battle this game is leagues ahead of Neptunia Action Unleashed. While the story is simple it hold up through the entire game and feels like it has purpose being in the game. Also with the multiplayer mode you can enjoy the game over over and over with your friends giving it more of a replay value than Neptunia Action Unleashed. MegaTagmension Blanc is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to the spin off titles in the series. A must have addition to any Neptunia fans PSVita or Steam collection.

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls8
Oct 18, 2016
Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls takes a stride in the right direction with its variety of unique new features and refreshing new cast of characters. Unfortunately it felt like they could have done better and put more work into it. I say this because it felt a bit like it was slapped together quickly using a large number of music tracks and graphics that are the same as those used in previous games in the series. The exploration of dungeons is more fun and exciting than ever with the ability to now climb and crawl making it feel like a new experience. The new character class feature makes it possible to customize your characters to a degree and adds a bit of nostalgia. Despite the "been there, done that" feeling caused by excessive use of old music and graphics there were moments in which the game truly shined with the help of a stronger story, great cast of characters, and the small number of great new features. Definitely a must have if you are a fan of the series!

Vision of Aurora Borealis9
Oct 18, 2016
Vision of Aurora Borealis is a beautiful and colorful kinetic visual novel which blends real life inspiration with some fantasy elements and a very small touch of romance. This game only has three main characters one of which is Gryla's pet fox. The story begins with Chris who is an aspiring photographer who has yet to become known for his work. In a search of inspiration for his next photograph he travels to Iceland to get a photograph of the northern lights. His car breaks down and he becomes stranded but soon after a small white fox appears and steals some of his food he meets a girl named Gryla who will change his life for the better. The story is well scripted and the small cast of characters is enjoyable but the visual novel is far too short sitting at about half an hour to an hour depending on an individual's reading speed.

Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed3
Aug 11, 2016
I found this to be among one of the worst games in the series followed closely by Hyperdevotion Noire and PP. If you want a quality hack n slash Neptunia game then get Blanc and Neptune Vs Zombies instead of this complete garbage. The game forces you to watch your characters and their clothes get torn to shreds thanks to a terrible and laggy battle system. It all gets old quick really to the point that I only enjoyed the first minute starting into the actual gameplay. Blanc and Neptune Vs Zombies was far more balanced, action packed, and enjoyable overall. Don't waste your money on this one when there are better titles in the series, this one just ruined my faith in the series until Blanc and Neptune VS Zombies was released.

Narcissu 1st & 2nd9

Narcissu 1st and 2nd are beautiful and deeply emotional kinetic visual novels that focus on the story of a young woman named Setsumi and those who had an impact in her life as her life was slowly coming to a close. Narcissu 1st shows the events surrounding Setsumi and a young man who is also a patient at the hospital as Setsumi attempts to fulfill her final wish. Narcissu side 2nd tells the story of Setsumi while she was much younger and first sent to the dreaded Hospital. Voices from the Sea10
Jun 22, 2016
Voices from the Sea is a simple yet inspiring visual novel surrounding a young boy named Cantus and a mysterious girl named Maris who has a beautiful ocean-like appearance. Cantus is very antisocial and pessimistic when it comes to other people but that begins to change after his meeting with the mysterious young girl named Maris who has made it her mission to make him smile. Cantus enjoys sea shells and throughout the game you can pick up the seashells of your choice. Depending on which ones you choose Maris will react differently. This adds a bit of choice to the game for those who prefer something a little more interactive. The story itself is high quality and brings the player a variety of emotions, the game has many humorous scenes as well as the more melancholic scenes that pop up on occasion. This is not a visual novel about romance it is instead a heartwarming visual novel about the struggles of a young boy and how his friendship with a strange and outgoing young girl can perhaps help him mature and gain an understanding of those around him.

NEKOPARA Vol. 20
Apr 19, 2016
The game is cute but I don't consider it to have much of a plot and would honestly never play this game ever again. The original Nekopara already took a weird turn but Nekopara Vol.0 fixed a lot of issues then this took right back to being a crappy game again. Cute graphics and Nekogirls isn't enough to make a game great for me, if it's ecchi or hentai even with great visuals a game still need substance and a strong and relatable plot which Nekopara Vol 1 and Nekopara Vol.2 SEVERELY lacked. If you want an actually great visual novel I recommend Season of 12 Colors, Narcissu, and Ame no Marginal.

NEKOPARA Vol. 10
Jan 12, 2016
Truly cannot call this a game, anyone who pays for this is wasting money when they might as well be watching a hentai. The characters were cliche and there is no romance, it's all truly shameless really. This game pales in comparison to beautiful well thought out visual novels such as Ame no Marginal or Planetarian.
