My experience with this charming and undeniably addicting rhythm game was extremely fun the whole way through. The fusion of rhythm and RTS (real-time strategy) elements made this a new and unique experience for me. The gameplay is simple; hit 4 buttons in a sequence to guide the Patapons through levels and boss fights. However, you need to lock in and *feel* the rhythm if you want to succeed, as it's not very forgiving if you make even the slightest mistakes. It's somewhat short, with my total play time reaching around the 15 hour mark. Those 15 hours were very well spent playing this game, and I'd recommend starting with this one in the series if you're new to the series and/or if you want to learn the lore of the Patapons.

I prefer this version of ModNation Racers rather than the PSP version. It's a great kart racer with quality graphics and it keeps the insane amount of customization in mind. They made drifting a lot smoother (unlike the PSP version) and items now have levels, increasing the need for strategy. The loading times are quite looooong, but it's well worth the wait.

Wipeout: The Game

Wipeout's graphics look nicely polished for the Wii, and provides some replayability value, along with a few extras, but fails to deliver anything exciting for the long-term. The game is also really buggy, with characters occasionally getting stuck inside of objects and getting knocked down by projectiles with comically large hitboxes.

Horrible physics, terrible AI, and lack of enjoyability from this game leads to money you'll never get back from this game. Graphics look like they came straight out of the PS2, and if you try to make any precise movement you'll end up breaking the tower. You're better off buying Jenga physically instead of this dumpster fire.

A step-up from Kinect Adventures, I had a lot of fun playing Kinect Sports, whether if I was playing solo or with friends online, games like Beach Volleyball, Football, and Bowling were pretty enjoyable all the way through. This game gave off quite a good amount of replay value as I kept coming back to it, and I'd recommend this game to anyone who wants to play their Kinect again in 2023.

Yes, this is The Sims 2, but I'd describe it as "The Sims 2: Story Mode." You complete goals given by your neighbors and people in town, which I can describe as house chores. You can complete Aspiration goals which are based off your Sim's personality. The house builder is very limited, and you can only buy furniture and change the color of walls and flooring. The story however is indepth and quite memorable, the plot is different from the DS and GBA versions and introduced quite a few new characters. I would recommend this game for long car rides though.

Avatar Farm!

This game may look like some boring generic farming simulator, but it was a staple of my childhood where there was one very simple task, make your farm the best it can be. Water your plants, grow unique plants, harvest your plants before it's too late. You can plant all sorts of different plants depending on the season, which would change every so often. This was an awesome game to wind down on after a long gaming session. Unfortunately, no one else can experience this game due to the Indie Game section on the Xbox 360 Marketplace being taken down.

A neat mini game collection that I have lots of memories playing back then. The Adventure mode combines three or less mini games into a level with objectives such as getting a specific medal in each mini game or completing mini-games before time runs out. You'll get some replayability playing Dodgeball, Reflex Ridge and River Rush, but the two other mini games fail to deliver anything exciting. Playing online with friends is pretty fun, because you can play without being smacked in the face by your friend playing with you locally.

There's no point in playing this "game" unless if you like making your avatar move. You can invite friends to a party and have multiple people's avatar in a room and communicate with others, but that's all you can do.

Your average Skee-Ball experience on a mobile device. You can increase your score multiplier by making shots into randomly selected holes that glow. You can use the tickets you earn to redeem items, skee-balls, and machine skins.

This game takes advantage of the accelerometer with levels that look simple at first, but throws in fun quirks here and there. The game encourages you to go for the highest score especially with Game Center support. A full front/back flip doubles your score and grabbing the board increases your overall score. The game is a significant improvement to the Flash version and is a must have in any iOS game collection.

Raskulls throws aspects of platformers, racing, and puzzle games into a blender and adds action into the mix, to make an excellent fast-paced XBLA title. The art style is quite memorable, and the gameplay gets addicting for some time. The story-mode is humorous and gives anyone a great time racing against the AI and solving puzzles. The game is best experienced if you're playing with a group of friends, and with online play, I'd say this is one of the best valued games for just 10$ USD. Just make sure you have friends that have this game if you want to play over the Internet, because there's no one out there that plays online in 2023.

Joy Ride Turbo

A great entry to XBLA, and a fun game to play with friends. This game is basically Kinect Joy Ride with a few tweaks and you play with a controller instead of using the Kinect, which was one flaw Kinect Joy Ride had. I finished the Championship Series in under 3 hours and had a lot of fun completing it, as well as trying to get the fastest lap possible in Time Trials. However, playing alone gets somewhat repetitive, because you're racing the same people over and over.

One of my favorite games for the Xbox platform, Happy Wars is great and quirky entry into the action online multiplayer genre. Happy Wars has addicting gameplay with six classes, each with unique abilities, and the "Special Events" gives variety for the game. Toylogic's terrible game servers, slow/bitter-sweet reward system, and unbalanced matchmaking is what kills this game.

After playing Ultimate Carnage on the Xbox 360, this is a great port of FlatOut 2, with the fun Carnage mode and FlatOut mode all being here. A few frame-rate slowdowns may occur when there's a lot of destruction going on but it's a very enjoyable game for anyone that wants to replenish their thirst for FlatOut on the go.
