Hell is Us is more than just a Soulsborne clone. It explores the theme of religion and war between the Palamist and the Sabinians. Both sides have been victims of the war, both sides have committed atrocities. The creatures of hell aka Lymbic creatures represent the ghosts of the victims of atrocities committed in the war. You will go back and forth and solve puzzles and unlock slowly the secret of this world and learn about the ancient world that was at war that foreshadows the current civil war. Even though you don't have much of a background at first and purpose, the game will slowly reveal your purpose as you discover your family and try to help certain NPCs as they reveal the world around you. While enemies are more on the short end of variety, they still poses of a challenge to you, you will discover some powerful bosses at the end. Overall, this game was fun and it was very polished unlike some other POS games that released recently *cough cough Dying Light The Beast cough cough*

Dying Light The Beast is a buggy POS. You will encounter many errors in this game, you will encounter this as soon as you try to rescue the next town hall and you need to hook up the electricity. The game gives very little explanation on how to repair your weapons, it's frustrating until you look up a guide or two. I don't recommend this game at all unless the crappy developer fix all the bugs since some parkour sections are just plain broken. Wait til the game gets patched and goes on sale if you want to play it.

If you remember the rage inducing Ninja Gaiden with the stupid bird, this is what it feels like when you get to the 2nd level. Do not play this game unless you want to be pissed off a lot, even a little misjudgement in platforming means death. It gets worse when you get to level 3-3, a whole bunch of **** and a tentacle chase where you blindly jump to hope to bounce off the tentacle, not sure if the game tester did the hitbox testing right cause it seems a bunch of ****.

Don't believe the critics hype and don't pay full price for this game, you're better off trying RE4, Silent Hill 2 remake, Dead Space Remake, Cronos New Dawn because they are superior games. The reason why is this game **** at combat and the camera angle is awful. I can't count the number of times I perfect dodge out of the way Matrix style and then the camera goes wonky and I can't see where the hell I am due to the environment. The focus mechanic is very much useless, as it doesn't add anything useful, I tried several times and it doesn't offer me any clues as to when the enemy will attack, even though I know when the enemy will likely attack but it doesn't have the parry system of a Dark Souls even though the combat system is trying to be Dark Souls-esque. The enemies can be bullet sponges and you constantly have to fix your weapon in order to not be weaponless. The problem wouldn't be as bad if at crucial times, you get like RE2 where Mr X can't come into certain section of the room but no, the enemies follow you everywhere and especially when you need a crest or something crucial, you can't escape combat. Did I mention that during combat, for no reason, you will get grabbed even though it seems like you're far away from the enemy. Later in the game you will get the claw but that claw is limited to the other world and you can't use it in the real world at all. The story itself is some loopy crazed feminist world of where all the major men characters are creeps and abusers (even Shu because you will find out later after you beat the game once) and the women are weak and victims due to society expectations . Even though the reality is that Hinako is pathetic by not expressing her desire to Shu and Shu is just as weak and not coming out to say what needs to be said. P.S After trying to get the sacred sword for the 2nd playthrough, somehow I still ended up with the same **** ending as before even though I didn't use any red pills.

I would recommend you skip this huge turd. The robots are way faster than you so you have **** movements even when trying to dodge their attacks to limited ammo so you will die over and over due to the enemies being faster than you. The upgrade paths is also stupid because the game literally tells you which one and it won't go on until you pick the one they want, this game just **** ass. I would recommend you drop this piece of **** and play better FPS games out there like CoD, etc.

Game is frantic and interesting, it fills in as a F.E.A.R successor. There is one glitch during one of the data center hack, but overall the game is good frantic action. Play this game until the end and you will discover the truth about your identity, which was a pleasant surprise as you reflect on what the bosses said to you before.

On the surface this game looks nice due to its use of UE4 and it has some good texture. However underneath it's a lot of garbage. There is no map to this game so you wonder aimlessly through the game trying to figure out the direction to go. Sometimes the game will give you hint but other times no real idea. This game severely limits you in terms of ammo you can use, as enemies don't often drop bullets and you only have two weapons to use throughout the game. RE4 or other shooting horror games like Trepang 2 gives you more weapons to play with. Even worse than that is the **** enemies encounters, especially if you're a few hours into the game. You discover those floating grabber enemies and they are usually accompanied by regular zombie enemies so even if you freeze two of the zombies and shoot the grabber a few times, it can teleport anywhere as there is no indication of its death and usually the zombies are unfrozen by then and they are in your face.

Returnal is not very good, it is throughly mediocre. It is trying to be hard because it does not have much else to offer. Weapon drops and health drops are at random, the game would be 100% better if those were allowed to be permanent like Soulsborne. Or you had a chance to recover your previous weapons/health before you faced the boss. In a sea of awesome but hard games like Sekiro and Nioh, ditch Returnal for something better like Elden Ring.

I did enjoy the old RPG element of revealing little bit of the story by collecting documents, etc. and talking to NPCs. And I enjoy the power you get to a degree however the game has a few flaws. Even when you have your awesome power, the hiss infected enemies are still very powerful, not the regular ones but the floating ones who use telekinesis and the ones who carries a rocket launcher. They hit like a Mack truck however you don't have too much room to manuever in the later fights as you constantly dies due to being overwhelmed by enemies. And the worst part is that you get a 10% penalty every time you die. So that means when you need to upgrade your health, etc. it takes forever to do so. Another thing I found was that the game is mostly based in a bland building setting so it really kind of messes up tracking at times as all of the offices look alike after a while. Even though you do have hints at time where to go, the blandness of the environment does not help you at all. Overall this game has some cool concepts but the environment and the artificial difficulty rubs some points off what could have been an excellent game.

Don't know why a Doom game is trying to be Super Mario Bros. If ID wanted to revive Commander Keen then it can do that, but this is Doom Eternal, not Super Mario Bros. Doom 2016 was better than this game for two reasons: less BS platforming and no Khan Maykr. If it's not due to Khan Maykr and the ridiculously awful platforming, then the game would be a 9 or 10, but unfortunately those two brought down what is an awesome game down to a mediocre game.

Game is beautiful and with its use of color, kind of reminds me of the Zhang YiMou films like House Of Flying Dagger and Hero. The plot is very interesting as you meet different characters who are being affected by the war between the Japanese and the Mongols. If we were just basing the game on those two factors, this would be a 10. However there is a huge problem underneath its beautiful façade. The biggest problem with this game is its camera system and its combat system. Trust me when I say that you cannot sneak through this game forever, you will eventually have to fight a group of enemies and that turns to a huge pain when you are playing at Normal or above difficulty. The camera is a big hinderance when you are surrounded by large group of enemies, when you dodge the camera will not auto focus and you will often lose track of enemies, so you have to readjust often and you cannot auto lock onto an enemy. if only **** Punch would have implemented something like Batman Arkham City, where you can lock on to one enemy and then move onto the next one after you defeated the previous enemy, then I would not have any gripe about this game. Occasionally I will also notice that items and location will glitch out as well, but that's to be expected for a huge open world game. Games like The Witcher 3 and GTA V have their glitches as well. Overall, a beautiful game with quite a few things to do with a good plot, however its combat and camera leave a lot to desire.

This game has some of the most arbitrary hit detection I ever seen and that's putting it lightly. In the dino chase level, I jump ahead before the lava pit and I land into the lava, I jump right before the lava I somehow step into the lava and I don't jump but end up getting burned, what the hell. I don't mind being tough. Hell, I was stuck on Dark Souls 3 with the Lothric boss fight for a while but I made it through and I managed to beat the game twice. But making arbitrary hitboxes that don't make sense is ridiculous, especially for a jumping platform. This does not just happen in Crash 3, this also happens in all games. In Crash 1, the Native Fortress level, you're forced to hold to jump to move from one iron box to another but if you don't hit right on the head, you're going splat. And the shield natives on the levels as soon as you jump, they sent you backward, you have to jump onto the ledge and then jump quickly again and try to spin in mid air in order to get the shield natives to raise their shield above their head to block. This game has some of the most insane hit detection in that a lot of times the natives will send you back as soon as you try to do the second jump. Try doing that when you're stuck between the shield native and the flaming lamp and see how you'll like the game. Some of the levels are fun, but a lot of the levels are tedious because of the mechanics and insane hit detection, this game is not good.

Dark Souls 2 is a crappy version of DS1 and DS3. I have enjoyed the two other installments immensely, those two games were tough but fair and you can make minor progress, this one not so much. I'll tell you why: 1. The weapons constantly have a meter, it's worse when you play on PC because of the framerate, the weapon keeps going to break soon unless you carry around repair powder everywhere and repair powder are not infinite either until you get to the end of the game, which is utterly ridiculous and you have to farm souls to make sure you carry around enough. There never seem to be a problem with DS1 and DS3, the game will also constantly tells you that the weapon is at risk, which is not as much of an issue in DS1 and DS3. Imagine looking for a bonfire to reset your weapon meter, or getting stuck in a boss fight with a broken weapon while you're trying to swap or god forbid you made it to the boss without . 2. Auto aim **** as it constantly jumps around enemies, especially if you are getting attacked by a group. The damn camera goes berserk at inopportune time but you need that aim assist in order to shoot at enemies with your magic or else you pull out your binocular and sometimes it's a pain to switch back and forth, not sure why my version did not work properly when I played it with a PS4 controller on the PC. It's a chore at times to switch between sniping and regular combat when you press on the left pad and it does not switch at all and you're stuck trying to block with your shield when you have your bow equipped instead. 3. You have to research adaptability in order to upgrade it or else your Estus flask use is crap unless you don't move, or you try to run away and then heal, but that does not work with faster enemies that have so much stamina and that is something that does not happen in DS1. Your stamina doesn't regen that quickly even with the Chloranthy Ring. Life gem is also limited until you spent like 10000 souls at a merchants shop, you have to research the Internet for that. Hell, you start off with two, count them two Estus flasks and a limited amount of life gem. DS1 was never that unforgiving. 4. Parry and control mechanics are different than DS1 and DS3, granted I should have played DS2 before DS3, but I kind of played DS3 and DS1 before I played DS2. Shooting arrow is now tied to R2 for some reason instead of R1. 5. The bosses are kind of forgettable, alot of them are rehashes from DS1. Old Dragonslayer is an exact copy of Ornstein in DS1. 6. This game loves to gank you out of nowhere, enter a new room or area and six soldiers, etc will gang up on you, there is no indication either. Never had as much problem with DS1, maybe at the top of the Undead Parish, and those were weak enemies at the beginning of the game, DS1 seems to be fine, as you can draw them out carefully if you know that you are not close. 7. Shield absolutely ****, be prepared to take damage unless you upgrade your strength to about 30 to use a great shield with 100% physical damage. Really, 30 strength for a shield??? DS1 and DS3 never had problems with this. 8. Hollowing ****, unless you use the ring that only allows hollowing to go down to 75% of your max health. Hollowing here appearance wise is so much worse than DS1 and DS3 too, you'll turn into an ugly skeleton rather than having ugly marks all over your face.

This game is just not worth it. You can play the real thing instead of this supposedly RE clone. Instead of interesting characters, better gameplay and better ammo management, you don't get neither in this game. These zombies are bullet sponges and you get very little ammo and your enemies don't drop any ammos for you to manage either. Your character run kind of slow and runs out of stamina easily and there is no evade button like in RE2 Remake. Also in some sections you have like two or three strong zombies altogether. You have to beat them in order to access the puzzle and then and only then you can go forward. So you can't run too fast and you have to fill the bullet sponges with ammos that are scarce already and your melee does almost no damage to them. And you don't have other weapons you can use like grenades, etc that are available in RE2. So it's a crap fest filled with re-loads, re-tries but you inevitably ends up with not enough bullets to kill your enemies and gets frustrated.

Don't believe the hype, this game is crappy and pretty mediocre, could have been much better if they improved the mission system, the path finding system, the ammo creation and the characters . The path finding is horrible. I ran into missions where you have to go the pharmacy for the gunsmith and the map shows that the pharmacy is the place where you are standing at but there are no ways to get in it, this shows you how lazy the developers are. Would it have killed the game developers have a hint or something to the locale of the actual opening where you can get into the pharmacy? Even when you completed missions, you have to look everywhere in the apartment building and there is no indicator where the mission giver is, no audio clue, no nothing so you might have to go around from 19th floor, 20th floor to 1st floor, the game doesn't tell you where you are. It's utterly frustrating. Later in the game you get a chance to craft a lot of arrows, etc but you cannot craft bullets? Really, this is stupid on the game designer decision, the fastest way to kill a zombie is pretty much a shot to the head but no, you cannot craft them at all, even though you can craft other weapons. And whose idea was it to be allow you to able to carry 15 guns and only have 40 ammo? This is utterly the stupidest decision I ever seen, every other games would only allow you inventory spots for as many ammo that you're carrying, like in Resident Evil, you have 50 bullets per slot and one gun slot, that could've easily be done here but no, this is just laziness on part of the developer. Overall, Dying Light is pretty crappy due to its major problems and that won't be fixed anytime soon, I doubt I will play Dying Light 2 unless the developer fix all of the problems in Dying Light.

Imagine where the next platform is to your right, but you can't press right and jump to reach it, instead you press down and jump to reach it. What kind of BS are you dealing with? Platforming in Lords Of Shadow 2, that's what. The platforming **** big time and there is no other save games that you can reload from if you are stuck there with very little health. This is what exactly happened to me when I was stuck in the train sequence. Finding out painfully that right + jump doesn't move me to the next platform and getting shot at = losing quite a bit of life. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time that this happened in the game either. Then to top it off, you are supposed to be avoiding those platforms on the train sequence and sometimes your controller won't respond to your command either. And you can't load from another save point because the game choose the load point and you can't load from another one unless you want to start the mission all over again which means you wasted like 20 - 30 minutes. The combat is decent but some of the choices of enemies are very dubious, like several demons carrying a shotgun in a small corridor that I have to get through. Or how about an enemy hitting me with a projectile as soon as I climbed up from a stair into the battlefield. The enemies should not have spotted me yet but according to the engine, I'm already in combat. The stealth element is very much restricted, why can't I knock out the guards if I'm spotted? I should be able to knock off the guard if I'm being spotted, but no they carry a big ass gun and pretty much means I'm dead by the time I'm spotted. These stealth elements are lacking. Overall, Lords Of Shadow 2 is a big step backward from the excellent Lords Of Shadow. It is unfortunate that MercurySteam thought that it would mix up the element with crappy platforming and crappy stealth. Plus with most of the plot seems to be making not a lot of sense either, it does not help either. Too bad the Lords Of Shadow trilogy have to sent off with such a mediocre effort, fans deserved better.
