This kind of game happens when a developer takes their time to get things right. The relationships progress naturally and the story continues beautifully. They have improved some of the weapons and fight mechanics, and retained the best of the last game. Bravo!

I can’t believe that there are not unlimited subtitles available yet on games. I expect to see this issue bring down the user rating of everyone to zero. The game itself though is great.

This game does things that are quite innovative and frankly it should be something that changes how games are done in the future. The facial motion capture, and the use of real actors makes the game a classic. There's actually quite a bit to do in the game besides the cases, so it never gets boring. The realism of the cars, and the settings are so spot on, its just amazing. There's a point in the game (about 3 quarters in I guess), where the flashbacks is done so well, its as good as a great movie. Suddenly you have a character is more human and interesting than any in gaming history. After you figure out how to interrogate, that almost becomes the best part. Gathering evidence also gets more fun since you start to realize how to close a case. And when you want something else to do, you can run around find a hidden vehicle, or film real. Great fun and worth replaying.

This game is described and promoted as "role playing" action/adventure. Reviews have mainly missed the point that this is more of a "platformer" with a far away 3 dimensional perspective. You don't get in close, you can't examine areas very much, and you move along a path. This doesn't mean this is a bad game, and if you like an array of weapons and things wack 'em with, you will like the game. Also the art and music is excellent. There is a constant narrator, which some may find irritating after awhile. Ultimately I didn't like the game so much, since I really wanted to spend more time exploring than fighting but that's just me. So for me it's a 6 for the effort, if you like platformers and action give it an 8 or 9.

I would say this game is really overrated. People are right about the style and sound but the presentation is also a little annoying. Its kind of slow paced when something opens up, but the mostly its the gameplay itself that is boring. Basically all that's involved is pointing the Wii remote at the screen and waving it around a bit. Sure if you do it right, you'll be moving Goo around and solving a puzzle, but the puzzles aren't that difficult and the Goo isn't that cute and waving the remote around isn't that fun.

I have been playing this game for a few weeks now and I think its great. The A.V. Club said you can get through it in one sitting...WRONG! Sure its not a long game, and you can get to the end probably sooner than other games but its a very fun shooter. The sounds are great and the levels are challenging and it looks good too. Plus the game encourages accuracy over just plain blasting. It could have more levels, but I'm sure most people won't get every metal and find every enemy for a long time. Using the zapper is sort of hit or miss (pardon the pun). I find I do better without it, but I've used it as well too. For the price you can't beat this game. Well you can **** never mind.
