The story is so charmingly simple that the entire case can literally be discounted from the entire picture. The Dude does some crazy things, and the dumb practical jokes he makes in reaction are absolutely funny. The ash spreading joke and the marmot joke are two of my favourites since they are so funny. Additionally, the character development is excellent. The Dude, Walter, and Donny are three opposites of a coin, respectively representing the lazy, bad-faithful bum, the excessively rigid and irritable hothead, and the frightened coward prepared to flee from anything that exhibits even the least hint of danger. Overall, the acting is quite good. Jeff Bridges' performance as the slacker here demonstrates his acting talent. John Goodman definitely includes the absurd comedy.
I GOT CHILLS when watching the movie's trailer! I enjoy watching sports-related films and TV shows. in particular if it is based on a genuine story. Michael Jordan manages to make everything he touches into gold. This film is fantastic. It's quite moving and makes you consider the tiny kid a little bit more. At the very end, Damon's character states, "The people who worked at Nike, the people who helped create Air Jordans will be forgotten, but Michael will live on forever." To summarise. That is true, yet this film makes you consider the underdogs. Even if it's a story about a shoe, everyone has one to share.
a fan of Mario? Without a doubt, you will be thrilled. Not a fan of Mario? Well, if you enjoy brightly coloured, well-animated films, you might still enjoy this one because of its excellent animation. The plot might be the only thing that needs improvement; everything else is perfect. Also, I didn't think the screen time was adequate; therefore, I don't see a problem with the film being about two hours long to allow for a more well-developed plot. Everyone who like Mario-related content should definitely try it, and even if you have never heard of him before, I still urge you to do so if you don't have anything else to do.
Despite having seen the game being played by the characters on The Big Bang Theory, I am not familiar with the games that this movie is based on. After watching this movie, I can assure you that the trailer does not do the movie justice in the slightest. I was pleasantly delighted to discover that this movie is so much more than what I had expected it to be—a vibrant fantasy fantasy film and an action adventure. It's excellent and a breath of new air, and the cast does a fantastic job portraying their characters.
This terrible film on sentiments transports us to a mysterious universe. an expert in its field. We are Beau in its deep, black valley. We attempt to comprehend while enduring a barrage of weird and bizarre emotions. They are palpable in your chest. We get strained, we must reproduce, it is a lot, but you keep going. You endure suffering like Beau. What a film! Best wishes to everyone who was involved, especially the writer and director.
This movie is fantastic because of many small things, including the soundtrack. Nicholson does excellent acting, while Di Caprio and Damon both deliver. I adored Wahlberg's performance.
This movie offers audiences a range of thrills, including both fresh and time-honored favourites. The story as a whole feels weak and uninspired, despite the fact that the film delivers on its signature high-octane vehicle chases and dramatic set pieces. The movie does not offer anything that can be said to be particularly original, despite the captivating performances given by the ensemble elevating the whole experience. For devoted followers of the franchise, "Fast X" might deliver a pleasurable experience, but it falls short of the lofty standards that its predecessors set.
It was a MASSIVE letdown. Many important elements of the previous three stories were "edited" in order to create a fourth for money. Much more of those ridiculous three-piece bulletproof suits, where no one suffers severe blunt force trauma from repeated blows. To continue the series, a new prospective dog handler was needlessly inserted. Another bounty has John being ambushed by hundreds of unidentified bad guys in a large metropolis with no police presence. Pure nonsense! But what might I anticipate from a sequel whose central conceit is a man who survives both a gunshot and a 21-story fall? Please stop right here without trying any harder!
Therefore, if you want to start your weekend off right, give this swan song of love a good bruising. Even a squirrel would have enjoyed it.a strong recommendation from the grouchy old man who is teary and snotty yet thrilled for them. Bravissimo.
This film offers a feast for the eyes. Additionally, it is strongly in favour of fantasy and fancy, which ought to appeal to all of the grownup daydreamers out there who never really had to grow up. The film is a fantasy adventure romp, yet despite the fact that a youngster plays a major role, many of the stories it contains are quite adult-oriented. The picture drags on a little too long, and the connections between the various stories at play are occasionally a little hazy. Nevertheless, this is extremely fantastic and undoubtedly will appeal to Terry Gilliam aficionados.
I'll start my review by stating that I enjoy intense, dramatic films that most people find dull. I was excited to see this movie since it sounded interesting, but it ended up being one of the most dull, repetitive, self-indulgent, and painfully slow films I have ever seen. To sit through the entire movie required extreme self-control. It offers no real understanding of Neil Armstrong's biography, the NASA space programme, or the moon landing. There are simply a lot of long, silent, dramatic looks. Save yourself some time and skip this movie. Nothing is lacking for you. A fantastic musical composition is crucial to me because I major in music. There is no "so-called" music score. What happened to the lavish celebrations and gripping films?
With some very wide, almost slapstick humour, Baz Luhrmann is creating a strange satire of a dance movie. It's enjoyable and enjoyable to giggle at the characters. The formulaic story is the only issue. It is almost uncomfortably clawing in its unsettling after. The frumpy female is sporting her normal specs. She only needs to take them off and get dressed up. The main character comes off as a little stiff and stern. Overall, the broad strokes are enjoyable and mostly make me smile. The formula does grow monotonous after a while.
Yes, I have to confess that this movie moves quite quickly and is visually appealing. As with Moulin Rouge, the soundtrack and cinematography work together to create a fantastic visual experiment. The movie's concept, though, strikes me as odd and a little absurd. There are two options: either you completely adhere to Shakespeare's original plot, scenarios, etc. (which obviously wouldn't appeal to the audience it was intended to appeal to), or you perform a modern adaptation and place the story in a contemporary setting. Reading baroque dialogues from the 16th century while shootings take place and fast automobiles are on the road just looks really weird and exciting. It simply seems like an odd combination of the unquestionable status of Shakespeare with the undeniable allure of action films that doesn't actually work that well.
This movie was tainted from the beginning by the obvious production issues. In particular, the artist's background mattes feature images of the cliffs with cows running towards them, huge warships berthed at the wharf, and numerous more backdrops. The artwork's unrealistically high quality detracted from the present. I've seen more convincing matte paintings in 1930s films with greater quality than this one. The CGI effects were just as shoddy. Those criticisms aside, this was a steamy epic harlequin romance or soap opera steeped in mystery and tragic history. At least half of the time, I was entertained. Despite a few instances of grace and oratory, the overall impression is that the film was a little cliche. Metaphor from Over the Rainbow and The Wizard of Oz
Despite going into this movie knowing nothing about the plot, I was immediately engrossed. The parties in this movie are a visual feast for the eyes, and they really take you back to New York in the 1920s. The visuals in this movie are really wonderful and just contribute so much to the story. Even without mentioning The Great Gatsby, this movie is a big winner when accompanied by the soundtrack. Every scene is transformed by Leonardo DiCaprio's presence, who plays one of the most intriguing characters I have ever seen. If it weren't for the attractive Carey Mulligan, who portrays Daisy Daisy Buchanan, then my eyes might not have been drawn to this film.
Before I explain what I believe, I should point out that in my opinion, Ed Helms is unstoppable. TAG is a fantastic comedy that is based on a true story. I wasn't sure because the subject sounded kind of stupid, but it isn't; it's an endearing story about a group of friends who decide not to grow up for one month of the year. It's the recipe for maintaining childhood friendships no matter where you may go in life as an adult.
Cheap as chips is the movie. They have a few 2000s sets, but they're only little things. There are a few automobiles and a few offices displayed, but that is about it. Basically, a camera could accomplish anything better than anything else. How difficult is it to video a couple unrelated cars? The camera work is awful and incredibly sloppy. It feels like a poor theatre performance because the handheld camera is seldom steady and we frequently only see faces or individuals without much in the way of set design. It is a $5 million historical drama that looks like a $5 million drama. However, the general plot makes it work.
Its storytelling is enormous and imposing, making it difficult for you to keep up with the complex, frequently contrasted structure. It's barbarically inventive and delightfully entertaining. But as they say, you can never have too much **** thing. The style is distracting, the plot succumbs to abrupt tonal shifts, the structure is brutalised by never-ending humour, and the creativity is clueless about when it has crossed the line into the silly-verse. Among the random vignettes, it's difficult to not imagine a cleaner, more edited movie. Nevertheless, this admirably isn't even close to being a catastrophe. This sequel is actually quite well done, very entertaining, and frequently moving. building indefinitely through exposition and naturally occurring narrative turns.
In case you missed American Psycho. Even so, it is a dark comedy. Despite its severe violence, Psycho is meant to be amusing in the same way that Fargo was; both films are incredibly funny despite their extreme violence. No, it's not a psychological thriller or a horror film. If you assumed that, you were completely mistaken and most likely won't appreciate it as much as you would if you viewed it as a comedy, which is what it is. This movie and book were probably greatly influenced by Vampire's Kiss, which has many parallels. a man whose reality—or lack thereof—is utterly unreal. Is someone gradually becoming insane, or what?
One of the best comedies should be the Naked Gun series. This is the original pure cinematic comedy, with a tonne of comedic lines. Really impressed with the movie writer and how talented the performers are. Well done!
Decent sequel, especially in the context of comedies, where there is typically a significant decline in originality and quality from the first to the second sequel. Undoubtedly not as nice as the original, primarily because you are accustomed to it at this point. Additionally, it would have been challenging to equal the first's uniqueness and humour. Nevertheless, really humorous and engaging. Excellent sight gags and clever, humorous banter. Quite quotable. Leslie Nielsen had a fantastic performance in the major role, much as in the previous film. There aren't many other comedians or performers who spring to mind who could have nailed the part. George Kennedy does a good job as Nielsen's clown's straight guy.
makes me laugh. I adore how many jokes are in this film. It is surprisingly profound for a ridiculous comedy, which is a surefire indication of a work of art.
Even if it's not great, this isn't awful either. It remains the greatest film ever, especially given how popular contemporary spoofs are. The fact that this movie simply recycles a lot of the humour from the first one seems to be my primary issue with it. The peculiarity is that the jokes they do employ are hilarious. Simply put, it accomplishes nothing better than the original.
The joke in 'Aeroplane' is that the script is straightforward and overused, but it's also full of hype and nonsense with a strong direction that does more than just move the story along. From the performances to the voices, everything in the movie is a joke, even if some of the jokes aren't overtly sexual. In addition to making a significant contribution to the comedy genre in Hollywood, this movie is significant for individuals who enjoy film and want to learn more about the allusions and cinematic history of the day. It has also held up well over time. Note 7
PVT CHAT portrays modern pornography, internet, and technology junkies in a startlingly true manner. One of the few films I've seen that addresses these contemporary topics. explores novel ideas. yet it manages to be lighthearted and humorous at the same time. However, it is undoubtedly not suitable for everyone. Other reviewers express disappointment since they believe it to be erotica. It is definitely not. Excellent cinematography is used. To provide the impression that you are watching the entire video through a webcam, it was shot with a fish eye lens. it blends very well. Movies made prior to Uncut Gems and COVID.
In contrast to South Park: The Movie, this film is not satirical in the same sense. They both parody other topics, but their techniques are the same. Many people will instead watch a filthy movie where marionettes swear, throw up, and even engage in fornication, so not everyone will witness that. And certainly, that is a significant component. However, if you can't laugh at yourself as well as others you disagree with, you won't like this movie, which is another important factor. If you take yourself or your personal politics too seriously, you will probably detest it since it takes equally harsh jabs at both sides. You'll probably despise R if you can't chuckle at the humour that tests him to the limit.
Even Eric Roberts couldn't salvage this tripe, and even a negative 100 rating wouldn't have been sufficient. I'm not even going to give this movie a thorough review; it's terrible and should never have been put into production. This had to be, at the very least, the worst movie ever produced if the previous movie was all about the uncommon and a superb example of art house filmmaking.
The movie was alright. many errors, though. I envision kidnappings, torturous acts, and other such things, picturing myself as the victim. How would I react in this circumstance? Fortunately, I always succeed in escaping by employing my cunning. The directors should also think in that way. When all the inmates in thc2 were taped and placed in an abandoned location, they could have simply UN-taped one another by utilising their lips, fingers, toes, etc. extremely simple to get away Martin. However, they did nothing but sit there wailing helplessly. false and unreal. appeared to be B-class acting. The rest was a repetition of a theme with greater gore. It may be improved. Yes, when Martin nailed their lips to their faces. Once more, removing all staples from flesh is simple.
Honestly, a good movie. The primary trio of lads are hilarious and endearing. Acting is excellent. It is a corny film, but it is entertaining. Other than the second act being a little dry, I really liked it.
Tom Hanks demonstrates in this film that he is not just an exceptional actor, but also a capable writer and director. A excellent film with emotion and brevity is "That thing you do!" The fact that there aren't many well-known performers in this film really adds to its appeal since the audience can focus more on the story and what's happening than on a particular acting performance. One of the finest cinematic aspects of the film is its soundtrack, which is also among the best ones I've heard thus far. All of the performers do fantastic acting, and there is perfect connection between them. Additionally, the audience feels several emotions once more. Note: Directors Cut 2 hr 29 m
Even though the primary kid actor attempted to cry, there was otherwise superb acting, there was simply no compelling story. To me, this was just a sluggish, dull movie. Even though "The Godfather" trilogy is a pretty "slow" collection of films, I truly enjoy it since there is fantastic action and an interesting plot. This movie failed to hold my interest; I could have stopped watching it at any time and not felt angry.
An wonderful movie with a compelling, expertly paced narrative that is powerful and moving, enhanced by the engrossing cast performances and stunning visual effects.
I enjoyed this film. It struck me as being quite original. Also, kudos to Tom Hanks! Being the lone performer for the most of the movie and having it still work requires a lot of ability, in my opinion. It was also quite realistic. For instance, the plane crash in the movie was the most realistic I've ever seen. Anyone should watch this movie, in my opinion. Despite being lengthy, it is well-made and enjoyable.
This heartwarming film is about the emergence of women's baseball during World War II. It served as enjoyment at a very trying period in our history. It also demonstrated the great connections that emerged. Tom Hanks as the mysterious instructor who only works with guys. In the sister subplot, the tall, attractive sister seems to have always been in charge of the family. It's all about development. One of them has the chance to make a fresh start thanks to this. Madonna portrays a vivacious, sassy figure. Of course, there will be a period leading up to a big game where issues will be resolved. Additionally, it provides knowledge about a certain sports phenomena.
I don't have much to say about this movie but i did enjoy it and do not see where the hate is coming from. Owen Wilson, Painting, Lesbian's. Good Movie.
Positives: Nicholas Cage is awesome! Anthony Hoult. The opening act is quite powerful. the blood and gore. the humor—mostly. a brief duration. Cons: certain poor CGI and certain speech, action, and musical choices that seemed 10-15 years old. A number of wildly implausible or absurd character or plot developments (I realise it's a fantasy movie) Awkwafina and the remaining supporting members are in the middle. Ben Shwartz is amusing as always, but he continues to play the same character. Despite being brief, the film felt longer than it was. Could've given the writing more impact. The bugs ruse.
I'm a huge Tom Hanks admirer. This is an excellent film that is definitely worth seeing several times. Excellent characters, writing, and directing. Mr. Hanks demonstrates once more why he is a national treasure. adore it
This, in my opinion, is the greatest mafia film ever created. The entire time, the acting was excellent. You'll be invested in this movie from the very beginning to the very end. Not suitable for youngsters, but a must-see for those who appreciate learning about the history and the mafia's heyday in Las Vegas and America.
This engaging, well-written adaptation about Tetris and commerce will appeal to gamers. I've played Tetris a good lot, and while it's fantastic, I definitely ought to do so more often. Taron Eggerton is outstanding and deserving of prizes. I like him in everything. This film's flow, wonderful soundtrack, and excellently done business meetings make it magnificent! I appreciate the fact that it is based on a genuine story and incorporates some Hollywood flourishes. I find it funny that my mother believes it to be one of the finest films she has ever seen, but I wouldn't say it isn't well crafted or that I wouldn't suggest it.
Another chapter of Jack's exploits while being pursued by the undead is presented in this narrative, which is quite straightforward. Although the characters are not very complex in terms of development, they are able to follow the storyline. Additionally, there is a careless disregard for logic and science, which is to be anticipated in a movie of this nature, but it occasionally feels over the top. Oh, and of course Jack Sparrow, who keeps you laughing with his quips and goofy demeanour.
I must admit that even though this movie has returned to its roots and is extremely similar to the original one, I didn't miss Kiera or Orlando. I won't give any spoilers, but johnny Depp and Ms. Cruz both give excellent performances in this one. In general, this movie delivers humour.
It may not be a classic, but I felt it was better than number three. It's an entertaining movie, though perhaps not one you should run out and buy. His immediate surroundings appeared to be a force field.
A superb film with a great story and convincingly real people. While Tommy Lee Jones portrays the best version of the MIB's subtly ageing persona, Will Smith is the genuine entertainer and a very skilled performer. The idea is amazing, the connectedness is intelligent, and some of the comedic jabs truly get your ribs on edge while others make you chuckle. Because MIB3 is so bizarre, it really succeeds in making viewers believe that both MIB and aliens are genuine.Good special effects have been used. For all age groups, a must-see.Josh Brolin was great as young K, it should be noted.Additionally, Barry Sonnenfeld, the director, did a wonderful job.
Not the worst or the finest movie I've ever watched. The rest of the actors weren't as good as Will Smith, who I believe was the finest performer in the movie. Given how absolutely pitiful the narrative was, I now realise that 7/10 is still a strong rating for the film. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching it for its own reason.
Really, the story could have been better. I appreciate the originality, though. And not just in terms of technology. The difference is that it doesn't appear as though there will be another following this one. as though just that film was involved. But I'm so glad that MIB 2 exists. I adore movies, therefore it goes without saying that this is still one of my favourites.
A pretty poor plot, with the impression that they were only attempting to pass the time. Create the illusion that pupils shot a homemade movie as a graduation project.
With the exception of Jessica Alba not being in it, I believe I loved this one far more than the others. The character setup, in my opinion, is good. I was pulled to them and felt a connection to them. The movie moved along rather quickly and didn't drag on as many movies these days do. The visual effects were excellent. I'm not sure why it received so negative reviews. I'd want to see a continuation.
Anyone above the age of 13 who is not a fan of comic books will find Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer to be a dull, incoherent bore. For comic book fans of any age, the cinematic mutilation of one of the most renowned and beloved Marvel comic book epics is a horror. It transforms recognisable individuals to soulless visual effects and one of the darkest and most frightening villains to an interplanetary storm cloud.
the one thing that I really liked in this movie was the character "looney bin Jim" kinda reminds me of Hannibal the Cannibal, his badly disfigured brother Billy is also pretty heinous in this movie.. but as for the "Punisher" I was thoroughly disgusted with him,, I don't know if it's because Thomas Jane was so much better, or this guy is just so bad as the punisher, he isn't mean enough,, doesn't move right, just something way off about him. The plot/storyline wasn't too horrible, but it had a lot of promise. I didn't like the bit with the flying circus performance of criminals; such a waste. Nevertheless, I did enjoy that small Patton tribute.
