Fun , but mostly only really worth playing for that Gundam fix, and in my opinion loses out to better options, whether or not this is good "Gundam delivery system" will mostly be a matter of personal state , this does the story well , but feels souless and the arenas feel very empty, overall not good enough to stop me from picking a dynasty warriors Gundam title , or an SD title, over this, when the urge strikes.

10/10 in pure fun and nostalgia factor. Its was a superb game at the time, but the controls and physics do show its age as you do often feel like your sliding around , and often wish you could go back to a time when you didn't know a better control scheme existed. Overall still one of the best car combat games ever made, still worth checking out (almost mandatory even) in 2025 when I'm writing this, and beyond .

In a lot of ways this feels like the 1st truly modern shooter, and the graphics hold up some 20 or so years later. The game is short, but for how good the graphics where for the time it was likely all the disc could hold, it somewhat makes up for that in some replayability with a gold weapon systems , but does not offer a multiplayer mode at all which i do not fault it for though would have been nice.

Quite possible the best Tekken game of all time . 10/10 would play for Tekken bowling alone. This is the 1st appearance of a few fan favorites.

The good- Almost everything . The Bad- Its a bit short , even when 100% it, the open world though it felt massive at the time,shows its age and does feel smaller , no fault of its there. The Ugly- Its frequently fairly accurately racist in keeping with the times (both when it its set and the changing sensitivity of the times)

(im not being picky here it might be the least amount of cars playable on average story playthrough. 2. the pink slip mechanic is a miss to me, forcing you to replay the game or restart races you won just to get the car you beat. 3. Multiplayer does not have a cop pursuit mode.

Criminally unrated ,what should be a classic , though it lacks the open world of test drive unlimited and the vast array of cars , it is one of the most fun racing experiences you could have regardless of the year of release. Its is imo hands down the best "dirt cup" racer of the ps2 era. AND YES ITS MORE FUN THAN WRECKFEST.
