A very lazy attempt to exploit the nostalgia of RO fans. Shame on you, devs! >:( ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Disgusting idea to present the era of colonialism and genocide as a cute and fun game. Like seriously people, how much ignorant white privilege one needs to think this is okay...

Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy5

The game was somewhat interesting, but there was one task that was probably bugged (photographing the students) because one of the students I tried over 20 times in different ways and the game never accepted it. Unfortunately there was no way to skip this task so it broke the game for me, I couldn't proceed. Too bad, because I was interested in the story. Another minor thing that bothered me is generally the unskippable minigames, and having to grind at the snack shop. The shop was interesting *once*, but having to do it over and over again quickly kills any entertainment in it.

I used to love this game before I realised how morally wrong it feels to reenact the centuries of colonisation, genocide and oppression for fun. I haven't played it since.

Brilliant game it kept me intrigued throughout the whole story. It's long with various locations, and very enjoyable! (Though the Syria parts were somewhat racist...)

Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror - Remastered6

After the first episode, this game was a letdown... The whole plotline seemed less intriguing than the previous it's often confusing what I'm supposed to do (at least the built-in hints were helpful) The game also contains several racist elements with a "good" dose of white saviour complex.

The Sims Medieval6

It was first a good, then a bad surprise for me. The good: Finally something different, I was hell bored with the original Sims series. There is character development, stories, quests, professions, medieval furniture & clothes, fun and chinchillas D: The bad: They designed the whole game concept really badly, you lose your kingdom AND characters after EACH ambition. This nullifies any attachment you would feel to your characters and kingdom. I was so disappointed with this, that I stopped playing after finishing the first ambition. I just couldn't care to start characters and kingdom from 0 over and over again... This messes the whole reason in a rpg. Another downside is that the game explains really small amount, when starting a new profession I frequently 'lost' responsibilities because the game didn't tell how should I solve them (like trading with foreign countries, mining cruddium with no cruddium ore, etc). As a conclusion: Sims and casual rpg fans should try it, it's a refreshing hybrid, but you will likely get disappointed after losing your kingdom progress and all your characters after each ambitions.
