Robinson: The Journey0
Nov 17, 2016
I am so infuriated with this game. There are game breaking glitches that prevent you from progressing and any game that causes me to restart gets major points taken off. I now have to start it over a THIRD time after I found out the game never registered one of the key items I scanned. It let me go on and explore two other areas completely before I found out I was unable to progress, and because of the fact that this game moves SO SLOWLY, I'm even less inclined to start over again! Do not be seduced by the absolutely gorgeous visuals. This game is uneventful, uninspired and boring. Every piece of gameplay has been done by other games, and far better as well. Really disappointed.

Miitomo5
Apr 9, 2016
Miitomo is historical. It's Nintendo's first foray into the world of mobile apps. Miitomo is fun. It's all about listening to random answers to random questions. Miitomo is charming. You can't help but smile at all the different kinds of Miis people make and the reactions they have. Miitomo is cute. Really, the first time you see your Mii in a sandwich outfit, you will "Dawww!" Miitomo, unfortunately, is a testament to Nintendo's inability to tap its potential. The potential is everywhere. You can doll up your Mii, but you can't decorate your room. Your Mii wanders around your room apparently happy, but he's secretly dying of boredom since you can't do anything with him. You can come up with your own answers to pre-rendered questions, yet you can't come up with your own questions. You have friends lists, but you can't send direct messages or even organize them or add personal information to them (such as making a note of who your Facebook Miis are). Of course, I expect too much. I do enjoy answering and listening to questions, but I'm also discouraged to play when the coins that I receive dry up. This happens in the first five minutes, and you only get a couple hundred a day, along with sign in bonuses, so it takes forever to save up enough coin in order to buy new clothing. Yes, it's "free to start" but it's still inexcusable to cap the amount of in-game currency you can earn. Miitomo needs to evolve and it needs to evolve immediately. As it stands, it's just a thing to check on every now and then and maybe, just maybe, one of your friends will have an interesting or entertaining answer to give you. Yes, it's being pitched as a social app, but it's begging for so much! It needs room decorating; it needs more min-games; it needs gifting to friends. It needs just about every other standard that most mobile apps and games have now.

Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn10
Aug 28, 2013
This review is to counteract the negative reviews slamming the game for its server issues. Yes, SE did a horrendous job handling customer service, but the game itself does not deserve to suffer as a result. I have not played Version 1.0, so I have no bases of comparison, but I have played Final Fantasy XI for a few years. What I've played of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn so far has been phenomenal. The improved quest system, the fast and frenetic dungeon raids, the exciting combat. There's nothing about the game that makes you bored. If you're bored from the game, you just aren't that creative with how you're playing it. Keep an open mind. Have patience. Put up with the log in and character creation restrictions because a beautiful and fun game awaits you.
