i have a love hate relationship with this game, it has an interesting combat system, but the insanely terrible online system destroyed the reason for me buying this game, my friend and i love buying fighting games to try out a lot. First off, it takes a ton of time to unlock the room lobbies, then once we did that, we then found out how terrible the netcode is, over half my inputs were missed, while the game doesn't stutter from my experience, the missed inputs are very frustrating........ i haven't played through the story, but i got it for online play, not the single player stuff, and for that, it isn't worth picking up. There are too many hurtles to jump and since the netcode is poor, it isn't worth doing anyway. if you want a fun fighting game in this style, go buy Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2. At least that has a stable netcode for closed lobby sessions with a couple friends.
