As a gay man, the portrayal of our community as all sexually promiscuous drug addicts is not only untrue and inaccurate but also irresponsible and damaging. As that may be the unfortunate truth for many people in the community, it should not be glorified and normalized to this extent. Young gay people need better role models than this.
