I do not understand low scores for this superb film on Bob Marley. It was a blast. It was emotional. And the ending credits had me stifling tears. I wasn’t only one in theater trying to keep it together either.

Don’t get the low scores? Not cerebral but I knew that going in. Outsized fight scenes better than Wick. Storyline as good as anything out there in this genre. A very good movie and I told theater owner that on way out the door.

A bizarre movie similar to Midsommar (2019). I was given courtesy notice at ticket counter that it was “a hard R.” The premise was definitely strange. The storyline/backround bizarre. Won’t go into any details except performances by Stone, Defoe, and Ruffalo took some skill.

The Iron Claw is a great film. I had heard, of course, Zac Efron’s name before but no clue who he was. Wife told me. Have to think he’s getting Best Actor nomination. Great performances by all across the board. Not a fan of pro wrestling but everyone knew “Von Erich” name. If this version is true… how incredibly sad. If you have to pick one movie this holiday season you won’t go wrong with this one.

I went into Ferrari cold. Didn’t watch any previews. Just a basic understanding. Driver one of my favorite actors. He was in top form but I left thinking Penelope Cruz stole the show as his wife. Racing scenes filmed well … not surprising for a Mann production.

Visually stunning battle scenes. Phoenix plays perfect, w/behavior tics/nuances Joaquin does best. Debated taking wife. Glad I didn’t. For the most part this is a “guy” flick with large portion relegated to fighting. I enjoyed it. Not sure percentage of women who will? The Emperor’s love life recounted. If accurate … an eye-opener.

I purposely waited to see this letting the hype subside … I remember a review about Predator: “Arnold took enough punishment to level a mid-size city.” Keanu takes enough punishment to level a metropolis. It’s a bit cartoonish in a “wile-e-coyote” way… The ending was good. I liked the movie. It was a bit long and the body count could have been less without degrading the plot.

Walking out of the theater an hour ago, reflecting on what we had just witnessed. No spoiler alerts here and try to go in with as little knowledge about it as you can. This was a great movie with strong performances all the way around.

Strong performances and story lines. This well-written, well acted 2 1/2 hour film is well worth your time …

Don’t understand low critic scores? This was a good movie. Ancillary characters were solid especially the lead’s first agent. Rap based and not bad. A solid 8+ …

Critics who slammed this movie need their credentials revoked. This was a terrific film with strong performances by everyone. Don’t be surprised if Daisy Edgar-Jones gets nominated for an Academy Award…

Walked out at 30 minute mark. (Only other time I’ve done that was for Licorice Pizza which I was able to sit 45 minutes for).

I scroll to user reviews on metacritic, always bypassing the critics who have an agenda, &/or take themselves to seriously. This movie shines. Butler nails Elvis & I predict a Best Actor nod next March. Hanks is not far behind. Period!

Superb movie in every way. Plot, cinematography, score, dialog, acting. Complete package & most will run it back multiple times.

Kidman gets an Oscar nod for sure. Bardem & Simmons shine as well. The mechanics of the story are thorough. One can appreciate the work involved in television production. Scene near end that involves studio audience is superb. This movie delivers.

Don’t understand the low scores? Movie a bit longish clocking in at 2 1/2+ hours but there’s a lot to tell. Gaga will get an Oscar nod. Driver sure has range, all over the map with his roles of late. I didn’t know the story before seeing this film and glad for it. Worth a look.

Never heard of Jodie Comer before this movie. Having said that, I felt she was the star of this superb effort by Ridley Scott. Matt Damon showed range in this performance. Well acted by all but those two stole the show. This was an excellent 2 1/2 hours of drama.

This was an extraordinary movie. If you enjoyed “Free Solo” about Alex Honnold ascent of El Cap without a rope, you will thoroughly appreciate this documentary. The staggering climbs LeClerc successfully completed are off the charts in every way possible. I could go on and on about this film. I won’t divulge the ending. I didn’t know it until I saw this the other day. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I do not understand the “less than” ratings here. This movie was a solid, re-watchable, 10. Depp and Whitaker are superb. Check out that supporting cast. Wow! Just wow!

Frustrating, confusing movie. While the performances are good , especially Hopkins, it can’t carry this film. If you watch it, you will know what I mean.

A five at best and I am being generous. It’s politically correct to praise this movie. For starters, Kaluuya’s accent is irritating. There’s more but I will leave it at that. This movie is not 12 Years A Slave or Do The Right Thing. Not even.

This was a superb movie in ohhh so many ways. Won’t go into any of the details here. After watching trailer for 30 seconds we turned it off and went to movie cold last night. That was a good decision. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Only marked down because of the ending. Otherwise this was a gripping movie with solid performances by the leads, especially Jared Leto who should be in the mix for an Oscar for his supporting role.

Comparisons of Zengel to Natalie Portman will surely be made as they are about the same age at start of their respective careers. After watching Helena’s performance, you realize just how stellar Portman was in the Professional. Tom Hanks (Captain) gives a folksy rendition as a reader of events from various newspapers of the day. Cinematography is solid. The script could be stronger. Definitely a mixed bag. Good period piece. The ending I will let you be the judge.

Anyone that gives this movie less than a ten takes themselves too seriously. This was a lot of fun. It’s also going to make Gadot a big star.

Don’t pay the critics any mind. Just walked out of theater ten minutes ago. This was a very good film. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a little bit of everything. Good guys, bad guys, action scenes, pretty girl...

I didn’t think anything was going to touch “Joker” during awards this year. I was wrong. This is a great movie. Without giving anything away, there’s a scene near the end where the troops are in the woods. It was an incredibly powerful scene. See “1917.” You won’t be disappointed.

Taut action thriller. The second half of this movie rocks. The special effects especially the Las Vegas sequence just kills... Great performance all the way around with Tommy Lee Jones stealing every scene he's in...

I saw this movie Oct 22 at United Artist Showcase 8 next to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. So it had been out awhile. It was also on a huge screen. I had the benefit of not seeing any trailers, just had a very general idea it was about Mexico and drugs. This movie is so beyond good it's unbelievable really. I won't go into any specifics but will just say the three main performances (Del Toro, Blunt, Brolin) are all definitely Oscar-caliber. This movie is intense. At the end, as the credits were rolling, I found myself just sitting there looking at the screen. Not moving. As I got up to leave, I noticed everyone else in the theater was doing the same thing. Just absorbing...processing what they had just experienced......
